I traded my ID4 for a Bolt. Much happier.
I don’t get the trade you did. I have bolt and love it. The only car it makes sense to trade for would be model y in my opinion. Model Y is same price as id4 and ages ahead of id4. Granted I don’t take long trips a lot so bolt is great around town.
ID 4 is a better "car": comfort, build quality, ride quality, turning radius, cabin noise, cabin space, like the video mentioned more vivid interior with the ambient light.
Model Y has acceleration and snapier infotainment that s all. The ID 4 got all the techs you need, 2 level autonomous, ID light, voice command, some trim get parking assist. So i dont agree with the "age ahead". ID 4 got HUD Display, adaptive chassis control (maybe not available in the US yet) Tesla don t have any of those.

Traded my 2021 ID.4 1st Edition for my 2023 Bolt EUV Premier. In my opinion, the Bolt is a little bit better generally, but the ID.4 was better on the eyes.
I hope you don't end up regretting your decision as it seams you traded the EUV for the ID4 for pretty much charging speed alone - but it almost seems like you're trying to find reasons to justify the trade and don't seem to have that excited "new car, YAY!" feeling folks usually have. If charging speed alone is the most important thing to you, then you made the right choice. Otherwise, there's so many things about the EUV that for me, make it a much more enjoyable experience for a long-term vehicle. In 4 months of ownership, I've never had to rely on level 3 charging and I still drive 11,000 miles/year. Your life style may require you to use them more often, but in my experience the level 3 charging speed of the Bolt hasn't really been a big deal at any point in my ownership experience.
Congratulations on the new car. I got some good news myself on Saturday morning. I ordered my Bolt in December. I checked the website for an update which I've done once a week for nine months and GM has finally accepted my order. The build date is Oct 2nd. However, if the uaw strike happens my wait is going to have to continue unfortunately. Gr8 vid as usual. 🚙 🇺🇸 🔌

Id 4 pro mode being like almost 13k more expensive... not sure what worth the trade.. chargung speed from 1 hour down to 30 minutes? That alone wont be worth it in my opinion. I may buy ID 4 because bolt are out of stock
