Hi Corina. Red Door is my daughter’s Signature Scent. I wore it when my daughter was a teenager, and she liked it and has been wearing it for years up to today, and she is a grown woman. I keep buying the bottles for her when she gets low. I also buy her purse sprays for her. It is not my favorite now, and I don’t own a bottle. Thanks for your tip that Charlie Red smells similar. I might order a small bottle of that as it must be slightly different. You got a good deal for the two vintage 3.4 oz. Bottles of Red Door. Take Care. 😊
I’m so impressed! You will smell almost anything. I have a large Lolita Lempicka collection so I bought a sample of Jolie but is was a nothingburger for me. I tested that Revlon Amber fragrance at the EA warehouse store near me recently but I passed. Red Door is a recent surprise. I found an older bottle for $3.99 at the GW and picked it up. The one I have is not as vintage as yours but it’s not the newest version either. Mine is a red glass bottle shaped like a door with a matching plastic cap. I love this! I smelled the new version at EA warehouse and it’s not so good. I thought those curved bottles you have would be Kenzo dupes. Enjoyable video!
@@MyPerfumeMap The other flankers of LL are more interesting and the apple shaped bottles are so pretty. L de Lolita is lovely and unique if you can find a deal on it.
Great info on how to source some of these great old fragrances! I agree that it is a lot of fun to get a lot of fragrances for the same price as you would pay for ONE bottle of brand new fragrance. Especially now that just one bottle of almost anything can run you over $100 bucks! I do still buy a lot of new stuff but I am really enjoying getting some great vintage pre-owned stuff too! Great vid as always!
I love Red Door. I didn’t own it way back when, but whenever I smelled it on someone I would ask what they were wearing, if I could, and I was always surprised. I now have a mini parfum, and I like to wear it at home once in a while, but I’m self conscious about wearing it out because so many people in the reviews say it makes them gag and it smells like old ladies in nursing homes, you know the type of comments. But I think it’s beautiful. I can wear it while I swan around the house in a kaftan, sort of like Mrs. Roper, though I’m nothing like Mrs. Roper. I’m more of a recluse who likes to read and putter around.
I love your videos and your perfume hauls. You make me think about scents I wouldn’t think of otherwise. I’ve actually purchased Cafe Cafe (Opium dupe) purely from your recommendation!!! 😊

Lutece is a beautiful classic. It’s definitely old school perfumery, if you like a powdery vintage vibe. I do! Lutece is a warm powdery-wood scent. The tonka and orris is very prominent, really yummy.
Unpopular opinion and maybe not cool but i dont care. Bc i feel so deep about it !! I absolutely hate the smell of marijuana and despise the smell of it on people. They have no idea how dirty and gross they smell. Its so disrespectful to smell that in the work place on coworkers. I want to tell them soo bad!! Lol. As marijuana legaliizes everywhere its only more common. Sorry for the rant.

I agree on the Lolita Lempicka L’Eau Jolie being pretty meh. Surprising because the OG is so interesting!

I haven’t tried either one of those perfumes but I will keep an eye out. The cafe Puro iced I have is the femme version, I bought it on eBay.
