It doesn't cost anything if you do it all yourself, but If you have to farm it all out, then it becomes a labour of love because the resto costs far outweigh the value of the bike. But we do it because we have the desire to save another one for future generations to enjoy 👍
Hi, excellent history of the square four but you forgot to mention mine! The company made a few 600cc push-rod ohv square fours in 1939 basically a 4g with smaller bores. All the best Ian
They never left the Factory looking as nice as this. Such a shame it has never been started or ridden. The ends of the fishtails dont have a trace of soot in them

Splendid restoration work on this Square four. What an era of motoring.
I'm 52 my father is 80 and as a child we or rather my father had one ,these where beasts of a machine ,fast tough, and reliable, god bless ya
The restoration costs would have been astronomical. It's the best I've seen, the tank alone is a work of art.

My luck the first day on the road I would get hit by some woman.
Incredible bike but no engine sound!! Dislike..
IT'S A FAILURE BIKE. OIL PUMP PLUNGER TYPE FAILURE. SMOKING. HEATING OF ENGINE BADLY. TRADITIONAL OIL LEAKS. VERY VERY NOISY ENGINE.
Ahaha I've seen you comment on these before with these troll comments
What can accelerate faster than abracadabra?
Troll!
