Thank you for your comment!
How to add third party finger terminal with hikvision 4 door controller
Can you share your mail id for technical support
@@yasirmydeen7845 Hi, the fingerprint reader takes a fingerprint read, and then uploads a card number to the controller to open the door. Due to the fact it requires a half-duplex protocol, this needs to be RS485 wiring which is reserved for Hikvision readers only.
May I ask if you know - can a Paradox Reader work with Hikvision Controller?
Yes, you can! You would need to use Weigand wiring protocol for any third-party reader into the Hikvision Controller.
Hello.
Any idea why card reader (DS-K1107A), connected to a DS-K2602-G controller will not read HID Proximity 1346 ProxKey III H10301 key fobs?
The reader does not even detect the key fob, does not beep.
The reader is set to Wiegand 26 and is able to register other card types.
Hikvision tech support were unable to figure it out.
Thank you.
Can you put one video for intercom using hikcentral professional
Thank you for your comment.
A video of this will be available soon
Hi Oliver, Thanks for Great video. Would this system work with a pulse door lock motor? Including a break glass to allow the door to be open when the power drops out? Many Thanks Liam
Yes, absolutely
Here a clue, at 1118 you show resistors then at 1128 you show VarResistors, two different things. Also thos should ne at the lock end so the fly wheel effect gets absorbed into the coil of the device not the contact of the controller end.
Hello,
Thank you for the interaction, the resistors shown at out of the box and also in the wiring example are actually both types Piezoresistors.
Piezoresistors are designed to protect the relay in the controller as well as to prevent maglock burn-in when a change in resistance when it is strained.
This is demonstrated as bridging across the Lock+ and Lock- which wires to V+ and V- on the maglock and not across the relay. This is as per the manufacture CE approved guides. Whether these are wired on the maglock, halfway down the V+ and V- cable or at the controller end does not make a difference, so long as this is before the relay, in which case this is.
Hi there,
Is the software free when you buy the equipment?
Link where I can buy the system?
The software is free to download from the Hikvision website: www.hikvision.com/uk/support/download/software/hikcentral-access-control-v2-0-1/
