After all you've endured, you're inspiring me to get off my butt and finish my TT Mach 1 that'd been sitting for 6 years. Love the new content and stay safe, brother!
My setup is exactly like this on my 2023 Rocky Ridge. Only thing I have that you should try is UPR’s plug and play adjustable high flow pcv valve.
Considering that most truck manufacturers don't offer a regular cab, standard box, 4x4, v8 truck anymore; I'm gonna let it slide that Ford doesn't offer flex fuel on the coolest truck currently available.
Did ford put anything out saying its not flex compatible?
The 5.0 is still listed as e85 comparable on the Ford website.
@@randomstuff3672look up the 2024 owners manual for the coyote f150 and look at refueling. The 2024s are not e85 compatible.
Yea they lied to everyone.
@@randomstuff3672Yeah it's weird, the tech specs on the website say E85 for the 5.0 but my owners manual says specifically not to use it.
nice!
stupid direct injection! 😖
lol
Good to see you back in business, Boosted 😁
I love di
Allows so much more range
@@BoostedF150 I just don't like what it does to the intake valves!!
rock on, buddy 🙂
@joeblow5037 all of the ford engines in these years of f150 have both direct injection and port injection so no carbon build up on valves anymore like the 11-14 3.5 ecoboost and first gen 2.7 ecoboost had 5.0 never had that issue
@@kevinanglin678 I guess I have not been keeping up. I know port injection is the key.
Do Fords now do both?
STILL like the catch can
That the noise you can hear at 3300 rpm if u are on it @@BoostedF150
Add the whipple next......
Nahhh man twin turbos all the way
Hello from NH I hope that you can post a video on installing the VAS traction bars, I ordered a set for my 24 thanks be safe
New sub...have the same truck even the Antimatter. Finding out it didn't have flex was a bummer for sure. Will be following and looking forward to see what you do. Exhaust sounded great. Let us know how much oil the UPR catches. Are you able to data log to see changes in timing as you change fuel? (had heard that Ford PCM will add timing if the fuel quality can support it)
What is flex?
@@ilovesnow2399- flex fuel...No ability to data log the '24 computer was another letdown of owning the '24... see comments in the Performance Testing vid
👍
I couldn’t see your 1/4 mile time what was it??
No video on lowering the truck?
Previous video went over the lowering kit
Wheres your old truck at and are you going gen 5 whipple or gen 6
All 2024 Ford F150 5.0 should be flex fuel..
Unfortunately none are
That sucks. So I guess you will need to get a tune for e85 when available
On the Engine Specifications tab on the Ford F-150 website concerning Recommended Fuel for the 5.0L Ti-VCT V8, it lists: Regular Unleaded or E85.
@@Scroggoit dont matter what it says there look up a 2024 coyote f150 owners manual and look at the refueling section. When you buy a vehicle from ford nowadays the manuals are all digital they don’t even give you a paperback manual.
@@ScroggoIt’s a hard pill to swallow for many people. Would you like to see my owners manual? I was very dissapointed, trust me. It is not!
Does that do anything for being NA?
For the most part - Yes. Helps keep things cleaner internally. I typically pull a couple ounces out every oil change. I’m NA. If I didn’t have it, that would have been sucked in and burned.
@@_chex appreciate the info
How did you like your pure transmission from your old truck if you don’t mind me asking.
Loved it
