Handsdown among my all time fav acoustic lives, bar none. Loved it to bits from the first time I heard this years ago. And though these last few years have been the most chaotic phase of my life literally flipping upside down many things I thought I'd never change about myself, my attachment to this song has only gotten deeper. Interestingly what gets me isn't even the lyrics, but the vibe - the mood of the performance and those notes he belts out towards the end with that strong rasp. Such a primal, raw force of overwhelming emotions man.. uh hits me off into some land of reminiscence I don't even have a clue about 😅 Hearing you talk about how you have yet to fully process your cousin's passing and how this brought that out. I'm starting to feel that I probably have something to sort out too. Maybe this live somehow resonates with that unresolved issue. I might have to take some time out tonight and start digging out the skeletons in my closet..
