▶Matthew Stafford is an American football quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. He played college football at Georgia, where he was a first-team All-American, and was selected first overall by the Detroit Lions in the 2009 NFL Draft. Ranking in the top 20 for all-time in pass attempts, completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns, Stafford is third in all-time passing yards per game and was the fastest NFL player to reach 40,000 yards.

I saw that game that Matthew won with a dislocated left shoulder along with all the other games he played. Matthew and John Elway were, have been, and will always be, my favorite QBs in all of Football. I have bled with him during his years in Detroit and Elway in Denver in all their losing years, but now they both have their super bowl victories, he has done it all and then some and is still playing. Who knows how much more Matthew will accomplish in the years to come? This video is very much welcomed for its content, and I thank you for it.

I love Stafford and his family. Great family and he put a lot of time into trying to turn around a Lions franchise.
He proved he is a super bowl quarterback and provided more obvious proof our Lions need to change ownership. I like Ford, and hate to say anything negative about them…but it’s time they sell or win.

I have always thought Stafford was elite. Best quarterback the Lion's have ever had. And I would say Matthew Stafford is one of the top ten QBs in the league, maybe top five. Just for the record, I pretty damned sure he has the same number of rings Aaron Rodgers does.

Stafford has one hell of an arm. I seen where you snuck in ARods name at the end lol. Arod is a visercal assassin. Just wait and see next season. Maybe the Rams have learnt enough to avenge their loss next year but technically speaking Green Bay is still undefeated after their second loss even though they lost 3 games last season not including the fluke playoff game.
As a Michigander, this has got to be a wake up call to the Lions. Why can other teams do so much more with our key players?

He was a stud in high school, even though Highland Park is a private school in Dallas. He had a great college career at Georgia. Received a bad break when he was drafted by the loins. He proved he is an elite quarterback with a Super Bowl Win. He deserved a good break, congrats Matthew.

I mean the LA RAMS just won Super Bowl LVI and Stanford played great. It was a really good game. Congradulation to them.

I had the chance to watch Stafford play with the Detroit Lions when four games came on TV every Sunday along with the SNF game every Sunday night. He showed he was incredible. But this QB can't play his job and everyone else's jobs simultaneously to get the wins he desperately wanted; so therefore, the Lions lost a lot of games; Stafford had a lot of INTs trying to desperately win those games; and he, unfortunately, did not get all the accolades and awards he truly deserved staying with the Lions.
But during this time when I watched the Lions games that were shown, I got a chance to see how great a QB he was and is. I compared him to Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers but he was like John Elway too. He is definitely a HOF QB proving he could come from not making the playoffs to SB winner just by changing teams. It is true the team is/was stacked with the offensive and defensive players to win. But it is also true that no matter how good a QB is that if the oline is inept, then no QB nor RB can make yardage or get TDs. Consequently, a QB has to be an accurate passer, have a good arm, and be able to figure out defenses no matter how good the oline is.
Matthew Stafford had to deal without having a good team for so long bc it takes more than one or two more good players to be a winning team. But this man played his heart out every game getting hurt when the oline couldn't protect him desperately trying to win throwing some of the most awesome passes I have ever seen by only the few QBs I mentioned including Tom Brady and Patrick Mahommes.
He deserved to move to a winning team. I believe that if he plays even two more seasons with the same or even close to the same team, he WILL get those other awards and accolades that all the naysayers are using to say he doesn't deserve the HOF to finally SHUT THEM UP!!!
The #10 things forgot that Stafford had over 45 comeback wins in the NFL and his QB stats this season was only second Time Brady. That "NO-LOOK" pass was not the first time Stafford has done that throw. Where do you think Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahommes got that play? He had to learn to be creative to play for a bad team in Detroit. They have played every Thanksgiving for years.
It won't take but one or two more seasons for the world to see how great he truly is; WATCH!!! He will get those few more awards, if not all the ones that substantiate himself HOF status, to shut up everybody and his brother who haven't played one down of football, let alone, played one game of professional football and who haven't been nor played nor won a SB Championship Game (i.e., Stephen A, Dan Orlovesky (?), Richard Sherman, and Marcus (?) whatever his last name is) to shut them up forever; WATCH bc his time is now.
He's a nice guy too who is not arrogant on top of all the talent he has and possesses!!! The money he and his family donated to Detroit to help the disenfranchised was awesome and recognized by GOD. He will continue to do well especially if he continues to help the poor and disenfranchised in Detroit and LA. Rich people don't realize that they are blessed to be a blessing and when they do this, they will be more blessed and happier by GOD himself. That's the way this works.
I am going to be watching every game I can of the Rams this upcoming new season even if I have to get DIRECT.tv to watch him stack those awards up every game!!! Go Matthew Stafford and be the legend in quarterbacking you were gifted by GOD to be!!! Stay the same person you have been before moving to LA.

Matthew Stafford has been a guiding light for the Rams, on and off the field. I love his humility, toughness, loyalty, and clutch play when it matters most. His wife Kelley blows me away. She's a stand-up, "call it likes she sees it" woman of heart, and character. She bought one of my dearest Ramily friends on the East Coast two tickets to the NFC Championship game enabling her, and her friend to come. Kelley if you're reading, I cried with joy when my friend showed up at our tailgate before the game. All of us are really close, and love each other as much as we love our Rams. Carry on, Kelley! You know the meaning of gratitude, loyalty, community, and protecting all Americans from government overreach. God bless you! I'm just glad the Lions didn't make us kick more draft capital to get you as part of the deal for Matthew! What an add-on! Horns up!

I used to get sick as hell, year after year, early morning NFL game show pundits used to LOVE to throw Stafford under the bus, create all sorts of assumptions and cherry pick stats to make it seem as it Stafford was the problem in Detroit. They'd point to the 'fact' that Stafford had never won a play-off game or that the Lions have only had 'blah blah blah' seasons with a winning record. It was nauseating, suffering 'experts' open slander of his ability, even when he did something GOOD, they'd spin it to seem like it either didn't matter or that he was STILL the problem.
I knew better. I live in Michigan and I saw a LOT of Stafford, it was plain to see what the issues were...they were NOT Matt Stafford, it was diabolical stupidity with the Lions front office coupled with a cast of coaches, seemingly going all the way back to Wayne Fontz, that were weak in the knees.
If the Lions are every gonna get out of the hell they're in, they gotta stop f'n around and GO FOR IT! You had TWELVE years with a legit hall of famer, putting up HUGE stats, even getting a nick name for it (which the idiot pundits still found a way to poo poo him for) and you couldn't get anyone worth the money they were paid to coach that team.
Curiously, I see the Lions bouncing back from all of this...new coach, new attitude and I feel, a winning season next year.

Here is the guy who upon watching a camera girl fall off a tall stage, briefly looked from where he was standing and walked away!!! His wife had the class to go to the end of the stage and sat down seeing what she might be able to do to help the fallen girl. The girl had broken her back. Matt Stafford has 323 TDs and 161 INTs and a career QB rating of 91.1. Jared Goff has a career QB rating of 91.5 with 126 TDs and 63 INTs. Both QBs have a 2-1 ratio!
