Leon Lai..such a sweet actor..although he can pull off a stare that can curdle milk..lol...love him
Seen him the first time in The Flames Daughter where he played the antagonist and he did it really well so i was a bit sceptic coming into this Drama, still thinking of him as an actor that plays villains but he was so good & believable here. Truly a very versatile actor 😌

glad it was a happy ending but none the less is was a terrible ending. Their servants are still their servants, only Qingliu and Aoyi have moved on and formed a family. And the cheesy "carry her bride style" at the end with everyone around them clapping was just terrible.

The main lead is the one good to watch in this drama.. female lead character is not quite well developed. Bi Lu is a good actor . She acted so well in AMA. She nailed it there but her character in this drama isn’t for her..

I don't like dramas of 40 or 80 episodes in which the lead couple keeps fighting and fighting against each other episode after episode, (it's so irritating and tiring to watch); This drama is no exception, long brutal, fierce, non-stop fighting. Bai Lu is so bashful, aggressive, and hysterical against Lai Yi (looks like her ONLY skill to be bashful and aggressive against her co-partner in her late dramas so I don't watch dramas with her any more) to the point it makes you sick and tired to watch this non-stop fight! And guess what: out of 36 episodes only 5 minutes of sweet love and happiness!!! Disappointing!!! I quit watching it after ep 10, after I found out (scrolled down every episode ) that they keep fighting and fighting till the end of 36!!!
i agree, cut the long overdue staring and the never ending episodes of fighting. It gets old.
Bai Li was wonderful in Love is Sweet. Highly recommend you check it out and give her another chance!
I wouldn't blame the actress. It is typical for female leads to be written either as passive and delicate or bold and aggressive in these dramas. She has done other work where she truly shines, like Till the End of the Moon.
