No prob, glad it helped! Bummer bout the gyms being closed, but Sissy Crag is basically an outdoor gym, I'm actually envious I can't just climb there whenever I want! Get psyched and have fun!
It was a labor of love. I'm just super psyched that people are using this as a resource to get the most out of Sissy Crag. It really is an awesome place, and I just hope I can get back out there someday.
My reply is 4 years late but Thanks! Glad at least some people like it! Actually it’s kinda ironic that all those agro comments seem to have disappeared 😂 Maybe the haters finally realized that I make good points and have converted? 🤷♀️ But my bet is they just felt heaps silly for commenting all that dumb shit
you are talking about a boulder that you can reach the top rail from standing and saying that doing it with no heel hooks is contrived? Is it not possible that all bouldering is contrived and that is what we enjoy about it?
there is a difference between changing the way you climb to make your climbing less efficent, and starting a route from a certain hold and finishing a route on the hold regardless of how high it is off the ground.
@@harper6692 not sure how much of a joke this, but no, climbing (outside OR inside) has never been about finding the easiest way up. If it was, then people would just walk up the backside of boulders, or hike around the back of el cap, or use the stairs to get on top of the indoor wall. Climbing’s always been about identifying a challenging sequence of movement from point A to point B and trying to do THAT as easy as possible. (while actively ignoring the actual easiest way on top of something)
Thanks for taking the time to put together. Very helpful for the sissy newbie. Paid my first visit yesterday since all the gyms are closed.

Just wanted to let you know that this is making the rounds again during the latest lockdown. I massively appreciate you creating this.

I'm three years late but I wanted to thank you for this amazing tool
Good effort!! Thanks for sharing and ignore the haters...

You’re amazing thanks Devin! Are you staying in Sydney?
I like heels.

@@bigdog5112 precisely 👌
glad you pointed out the obvious to our boy Thomas there… or maybe he just missed the point…
is this a spray wall or a crag? gross
😂 apparently those 2 things aren’t mutually exclusive
@@TREXwithRockets maybe I'm just old but I thought the goal of outdoor climbing was to find the easiest way up...
