Now this takes me back to 5th grade big time. Seeing those cards again was great : ) Seeing them as an adult, you notice things you missed as a kid. Namely, just how many side images of Paul there is in this set, where you cant even see the star on his face. #wierd
Righteous video on your part 'In My Head'. You always kindly explain your devotion to the KISS brand as we all have enjoyed it for decades. The Chu-Bops mini record for 'Unmasked' in an unsealed condition is a serious score in this day and age. It's significant to your vlog when people send you out-of-print and relatively collectible records and merchandise for free. The Donruss stuff was never available in my small Canadian town. Rather a sought-after collectible on this side of the border. The 'Love Gun' stage was the best KISS ever had.
My first experience with Kiss was the cards I remember a kid rolling up on he bike and showing me them . So I went out and bought some for myself I liked Gene and Ace ! I remember liking kiss from the cards even before I heard there music lol 😂 my mom wouldn’t let me get a kiss record for a while . Thanks for sharing.
Love the cards!! Once you get them in a binder and sheets, you should head back to the curb you would sit at in front of the 5 & Dime store, just to have a moment of reflection. That would be killer! Those socks are very cool, and do look very nice in the packaging, and would look very sweet in a case, so I get you not wanting to open them. The Chu-Bop......c'mon!! Taste Test!! You will only have the stomach cramps from the spoiled gum for a few hours. It will be worth it!! Bwahahaha. Great video. Take care.
That thumbnail classic I remember having that card when I was a kid from the kiss card collection 👍🥁💯⚡⚡🤘 wow my mother had bought me that unmasked bubblegum card back in 1980 I was 12 years old when I had that while I ain't seen that in years man you're taking me back to a simpler time in life
Man I remember I use to ride my bike to the 7-11 & buy those packs up like crazy, I put the set together in one week so much fun, The 3rd series has Eric Carr Cards and was only put out overseas.
Nice pickups! It was incredibly nice for that fella to send you those Stryper albums. I’ve always wanted one of the Bibles they’d throw out at concerts.
I've never seen anyone as dedicated and as passionate as you.... I have the same 1 through 66 card selection in the same condition in the same plastic case. You going through them was incredibly special and extremely nostalgic... felt like I was right there with you. GREAT video.... "We like to turn the microphone over to... Ace Frehley!"... I let out quite the laugh!
Thank you so much. I get these cards put every so often and smell them and look at them. Takes me back to being 9 again. I have a follow up video coming soon. Be sure to subscribe and catch it. Thanks for watching.
@@InMyHead We must be roughly around the same age... they certainly were pure eye-candy for us and to have them make TV appearances when you roughly had maybe 3 to 4 channels back in the day was literally like Christmas.
Good finds! I have those socks. I also have those Stryper albums on vinyl too. My Soldiers Under Command is a rare white vinyl from 1985. I like that chu bop. I always wanted those trading cards. You are very lucky Brant.
Series 2 was a lot harder to get because it was in and out of the stores before you could blink. When series 1 was out Kiss was on top of the mountain but by the time series 2 came out people weren't into Kiss anymore and they were going to the bottom of the barrel. No demand for Kiss stuff -- out it went from store shelves.
So much fun Brant- especially in these times, something to cheer us all up. Isnt it interesting we get rid of certian things, only to realize what a mistake it was to get rid of it?
I have the same feeling about the Monty cards of KISS. I was only 6 years old when I started collecting them from ''Stjerneposen'' on Saturdays. Love those days 😍👍👍
Thanks so much for showing each card...haven't seen them since they came out..wow, memories came flooding back! So wish I had that ChuBops again ,WOW!!! I also bought the KISS colas and saw the socks, but didn't get them..Love videos like this!!
Thanks for showing and sharing the KISS cards mate. Bought back childhood memories. I used to have the set as well but not in such great condition. I remember also having just one Eric Carr card. Sadly I lost those cards in a move from house to house when I was still young. I'm from Sydney Australia and enjoy your videos very much. Thank you and good luck on more great finds and purchases as well as receiving some nice gifts from fans. P.S. card 58 is my very favourite.
Ditto Nicholas ! 😃👍🇦🇺 I turned 13 as KISS toured Sydney. I had the full set of the Original KISS trading cards in 1980. NOTE - US fans of KISS these were the Alive II trading cards. A second set of KISS trading cards were then released. The second set were really expensive. Typical KISS . . 🤨
I remember riding around on my BMX every Saturday morning to every milk bar here in Preston Melbourne buying as many packets of cards as i could afford.
Can you put a list of the stores you shopped while in Tennessee? I live in Chattanooga, Tennessee and would like to know where the stores are. Thank you!
Neat items..Really liked the ChuBop. The socks .....I'm with Ric on something like that. Ya got to wear them! I thought you were in the market for the 77/78 tourbook? Were they just going for too much? It appeared they were going for $149ish?

I bought these when I was a kid! I think I still have a couple of them kicking around somewhere! LOL! 15 cents a pack back then!

I remember buying Back In Black when I was 14 in The Rhythm Section in Gatlinburg. Great store to be in such a tiny box but it is packed 99% full!

These here are Gene's nose hairs...
30 year old chewing gum does not taste good. Ask me how I know.....
Stryper is your generation creed that saying much
I consider that a complement considering I love both stryper and creed
In My Head don’t because both bands suck really bad.
Creed is Awful band. Singer is nothing more Eddie vedder rip-off
That's cool you have that opinion no worries man I just like what i like
