Help this soundtrack is too good, the wife and kids told me to stop listening to stygia, they don't know what they are talking about. Even the dog headbangs with me.
i think the way the songs were put into play could have been better such as uknown getting their voice back and THEN have Tatiana on vocals like its unknown singing
Nah 25:25 had to be scripted. From the activation of the hellcrows super TO THE TIMING OF THE CHORUS, the devil horns the unknown puts up, and the sheer awe woops had when it hit. Honestly one of the coolest gaming moments I've seen
The best types of games to see Woops play are the ones where he doesn't talk at all because of how goddamn hype it is This was wonderful, I hope you play some more
Games like this are only as good as their soundtrack, and this has one of the absolute best soundtracks I have ever heard. Every artist they got to do guest vocals is an absolute legend of their craft. I know every vocalist they brought on and got super hype every time the song title popped up in the corner, and hearing Woops discover some of these guys for the first time just made an already incredible video even better.
Stygia, Archeon, and No Tomorrow are just absolute fucking bangers. Love this all. I really, REALLY hope they do an major expansion to this cause I would be 100% down to fucking invade heaven to Metal.
Not gonna lie, you're one of the few big streamers/youtubers that I've encountered so far that REALLY became one with the game! Rip and tear dude, rip and tear like there is No Tomorrow
Yo, imagine if one of the next songs in the next game was from Tool, or another band known for their wacky time signature changes. It seemed like the beat in most of the songs were somewhat steady, so I think it would be neat if there were more time signature/tempo changes.
Yeah! Very hard to fuse this with the gameplay , though - you need steady beat or the player will drop combos all the time , you trade off variety for smoother user experience here
The dude almost never hit the dodge button, what do you mean? All of the attacks are fairly easy to dodge, the dude just wouldn't press shift, only spammed jump.
@@FluffySakne Very unpopular opinion, I suppose, but the vocals in this game are the reason I didn't even buy it, despite loving the idea. I'm not down with constant growl-screaming, just does literally nothing for me. I can hear amazing music here and then the vocals come in and start distracting. Doom Eternal I'm not gonna play, since I hate shooters, but the music in that game actually made it onto my playlists, because Mick just knows what's up and I don't have someone go "UUUUUUAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH" for 15 minutes straight.

I beat the game in 5 hours, but god damn i listen to the soundtrack on my way to and from work constantly. Just the small fact that it has truly good metal with an amazing range of talent makes it so incredibly fun
I don't know why, but even after the 6th watchthrough of this video it keeps getting recommended to me. But I can't complain, it's very entertaining and because of this video I've come to enjoy this kind of music. Thanks Woops :)
Good fuckin’ lord this shit hits hard. As someone who grew up on rocks since my parents would play it in the car, this just resonates with me so god damn well
I can't believe this game almost slipped under my radar! Watched 5 minutes of your video and knew I had to get it. Thanks for introducing me to this absolute gem, subbed.
I learned about Woops through Nest videos. Awesome content, awesome creator. However, I think this is my favourite game to watch Woops play; combining their FPS skills with their rhythm prowess. Definitely an entertaining watch. :)
Just found you for the first time, I love all the little drawings you put into your videos, and your character is adorable! Definetly subscribing! Keep up the awesome work! ^^b
Give me polyrhythms in the sequel, along with big stomping fast paced riffs. Give me Slipknot, Devin Townsend, Opeth, Lorna Shore, Slaughter to Prevail and Behemoth.
It's been well over 20 years since I played an instrument, and yet I keep finding myself counting the time in my head... 1, 2, 3, 4, 2, 2, 3, 4, 3, 2, 3, 4....
i could be wrong but i think the singer from Refused is also in this i belive he was at the concert they did for this game Refused did the songs for Samurai in cyberpunk 2077
The fact your ranged attack is headbanging the skull is just perfect.
Best part about it is game tells you to keep headbanging the skull to keep the meter up outside of fight. 10/10
Bullets Per Minute + Doom Eternal.
The combination we never knew we needed.
Not the game we wanted, but the game we absolutely needed.
@@Springtrap11556 The game i wanted and absolutely needed
(Doom Eternal + actual guitar) + Bullets Per Minute
gotta remember that doom doesn't use conventional instruments

wha the dog doin
Hearing stygia in the demo is what made me fall in love with this game
NO ELP now enjoy the tunes
Stygia best one on game bruh😭
@@agu.a8367 I have to respectfully disagree, as I'm more leaning towards Matt Heafy's badass voice in This Devestation.
Ill be honest its awesome hearing Tatiana in the games soundtrack. And doing her back and forth with the false cords scream and her regular singing
i think the way the songs were put into play could have been better such as uknown getting their voice back and THEN have Tatiana on vocals like its unknown singing
Honestly, Hearing Tatiana feels like the Unknown Singing, it’s that internal rage of the hellsinger’s voice being stolen.
When I heard this game I was so excited to see Woops pick it up.
The music is so FUCKIN' GOOOOOOD

"This is your mandatory headbanging session." Too true cause I'm still headbanging
Not gonna lie, you're one of the few big streamers/youtubers that I've encountered so far that REALLY became one with the game! Rip and tear dude, rip and tear like there is No Tomorrow
This is literally rhythmic Doom. We've fought hell, now we go up to to fight heaven.
one might say... a rhythm heaven...

bro putting tool im this would be dope
Imagine trying to keep up with King Gizzard and the Lizzard Wizard.
Yeah! Very hard to fuse this with the gameplay , though - you need steady beat or the player will drop combos all the time , you trade off variety for smoother user experience here
Highest difficulty level: Progressive Metal (Tool, Persefone, Dream Theater, Ne Obliviscaris, etc...) ;D
I like Tool but i dont think their music fits the aesthetic of this game
Can we just point out how glorious at the game he is. He's no gamer god. But he makes it look like he's unknown herself
The dude almost never hit the dodge button, what do you mean? All of the attacks are fairly easy to dodge, the dude just wouldn't press shift, only spammed jump.
Unknown would B proud. 😈
59:28 I had no idea that THE Serj was in this game, my jaw dropped when I heard his voice the first few seconds
"IT'S THE END... TO THIS LIFELESS PARADISE, YOU DISGUISE!"
"When you get to Heaven... give them Hell."
DAAAAAAAAAAAMN
the adrenaline and dopamine this game generates are out of this realm and i love it!!
I don't even listen to metal music but holy shit this sounds so good
Bruh frrr
Well, get to fixin' that then.
well, now you do
I just love how this game inspires editors to edit to the beet to
Good to know you loved this game.
That game is the definition of HEAVY METAL TO THE NEXT LEVEL.

This game combines so many amazing things, it’s so good!
I get the feeling that the doomslayer and the unknown would actually be good friends.
The first 25 seconds of this video is LITERALLY. ME. WHEN I FIRST PLAYED THIS GODLY BADASS GAME.
I STARTED SCREAMING HEARING SERJ. HE STILL HAS IT AND I'M *ALL* FOR IT MAN.
17:13 even the skull said "oh!"
I love how games like this make you feel so empowered through the music.
The fact that we had Doom with its responsive music, now here's a game about fighting hell to the music, honestly, it rocks so hard. Hella sick imo

God this game is amazing and There needs to be more like it in my opinion. This style of game is so fun

The Jinjer track goes SO FUCKING HARD. Love this game and its incredible soundtrack.
Gods the idea of this getting dlc is just mind numbingly amazing
Hellsinger is like Bullets per minute 2.0 and im all for it
When I heard Trivium I popped off! What an incredible soundtrack!
Common players: oh god this is so much difficult to keep the rhythm!
Whoops: I’m vibin’ man!😎
Damn that ending was definitely not what I was expecting at all and is kind of cool how it played out.
God this game was fucking hype

When she gets her voice back, maybe we finally get to her the song the tenacious d tribute was singing about.
38:16 I can tell as soon as the chorus started you locked in
I wat hed this vid for about 10 minutes, bought and played through the whole game and now im coming back to finish watching the video
I want Metal: Heavensinger to be power metal
Fucking BASED-ASS comment, bossman.
what got me in the demo was the fact you could do multiple doges on beat, just zooming to the beat across the map.
this is just that video of shooting in the house but with extra steps and i love it

Yeah the music is good and the rhythm fps thing is good, but can we all talk about the cursed skull head banging to keep the beat?
"Hell hath no elevators"
"Sure they do! I build em' in terraria all the time"

Holy SHIT I was not expecting to be so excited about this game. This looks so goddamn awesome!
The song this devastation is pure eargasm
It took me until like 48 minutes in to realize Cerberus and Orthrus were the names of the guns, not the weird knife-arm dudes.
Bullets per minute 2: electric boogaloo
Literally my only gripe with this game is the reoccurring boss design
Aside from that 10/10
I agree. Like, I get that the boss is cool, but do you have to make it the same one every single time?
Song repeats for every fight with her too.
@@samreddig8819 The song rocks though

This game would be easy 10/10 if not the same boss models. Still banger though, super fun.
Man this video cam out the week before i saw Tricium live and it made that work week real slow.
It's twice now it happens in games, so it's official. Hell has an absolute banger of song.
I feel like TB would have liked this game.
I was thinking the exact same thing while watching this.
its fitting serj got the honor of final boss music
