Stunning bike and sound !!! Thanks for sharing. I came across one of these just a few days ago here in Ireland. A guy was pushing it down the road having run out of Gas, and I helped him out. It was exactly like your bike and beautifully maintained.
I had one too.. One of my co-workers was braggin' about his Honda 350 (a great bike) but my Kawasaki had expansion chamber exhaust and would redline at about 11,500 rpm. I told him to take it for a spin- he came back thoroughly convinced of the Kawie's superiority.
Owned one back in the early 1980's . After I had it found it had a bad crankshaft end bearing . Split the case and replaced the bad bearing . Went back together and down the road with some one else .
I had one. you can hear those whiny straight tooth gears. the absolute best gas mileage was 28 mpg at 55 mph. at 85 you got less than 20 mpg. put it in first and set your balls on the tank and lean forward over the speedo. wrap the throttle wide open and nothing happens until your tach hits 6-7 grand. the wheel comes right off the ground. it was a very peak engine coming on at 7 grand but it out handled a great many other bikes.
Burt ,I had a `73 Kawasaki 350 myself and the book said that it got 79.2 miles per gallon . I remember I was amazed at that much gas millage. I looked through that book dozens of times ,no matter what I was looking up I would always look back to the gas mileage & was always excited at how much gas I was saving . Regardless - At how many People were trying to run Over me . That`s why I sold it - and that was just back in the late 70`s . Its a thousand times worse now a days .. Terry
A thing of sublime beauty.

I rode the twin and 4 cylinder 350 honda. neither held a candle to my "SALAKAKI" 350 s2.
even the 550 honda 4 and the 450 twin were easy meat for my s2.
Had one. Liked it a lot.
