I just got back from a week long stay in the Grand Cayman Island 2 days ago and it was the most beautiful Caribbean island I have ever been to. The locals are the nicest and most kind hearted people you'll ever meet. You are safe wherever you go day or night and the food is fresh and amazingly delicious. I stayed in West Bay right on 7 mile beach. Everyone should go and see the beauty for yourself. Best beaches in the world with the clearest blue water you'll ever see.
Excellent video. I'm trying to decide where to go this summer and the Cayman Islands just got a big boost. I like how informative you were. It really helps.
Attention CTO: I see that this was uploaded in 2011, but the butterfly farm and the deep dive submersible last operated in 2004. Perhaps it's time for a new edit.
Thanks Courtney, we'll adjust. Check out the Cayman Islands' UA-cam channel for more up to date videos about the destination - ua-cam.com/users/CaymanTourism
@BerryLove the local areas aren't poor, I know cuz I'm from Cayman and I live in the local area. But yeh, the locals aren't poor, we have nice homes and everything, Cayman doesn't have poverty, our currency is one of the most valuable currencies, and we're a first class Island, you won't find one poor person there trust me, by the way, we are owned by the UK.
I was there in '96 and loved it! It has all the beauty of the Caribbean without the poverty and social unrest.

I don't know how to swim, as a matter of fact I am kind of afraid of water. What do I do as I am looking to take a cruise here...Yep cruise lol...
