I usually tell my customers 10-15 years. That's about how long I see our liners lasting with a portland/vermiculite bottom and people taking care of it.
Our Ester Williams liner has lasted 35 yrs so far!!!
You, my friend...win the prize for longest lasting vinyl liner we've heard of! We talk A LOT about how long the liners typically last...that's because 'typically' we see homeowners needing to replace them around the 7 year mark...and that's because there aren't' many that diligently maintain their pool. Thanks for sharing!
River Pools my husband has taken such good care through both generations of a lot of use.
@@isabelmilne5435 good stuff! Sounds like LOTS of memories made around that pool! Love hearing that!
Our pool back in 2001 was installed but they used stone dust ❌ and that liner lasted 11 years when we replaced it in 2012 the installer recommended a cloth type mat underneath and so far so good but another installer wanted to remove the stone dust and add sifted sand of course a lot more money so we went with the mat and one guy did the job between jobs
I had my liner replaced in 2004. It's a little faded but still fine.
Great! It is possible for them to last this long...sounds like you take really good care of your pool! Keep enjoying it and have a great rest of your summer 🤠 Thanks for watching and sharing your experience! It helps buyers make the best decision.
Great unbiased perspective from a company that sells a competing product 🤣. You went with a poor product if its under 10 years. More like 10 years on the low end, 18 on the high end.
I have replaced the second liner in the last 8 years. The first one was from 2009 , before I bought the house . I replaced it in 2013 . Now , the second one . In both cases the same problem . The liner at the bottom becomes very dry and fragile . It lies right on the sand. Perhaps this is a problem. May be it was better to put some additionnal mat . But I cut the old liner on pices and put them on the bottom under the liner . I hope it'il help .
My Iiner is 15 years old
Hi Chewbacca Yoda! Yep! We hear ya! And kudos to you for maintaining it very well. What we refer to as a typical lifespan for a liner is what we’ve seen first hand over the years.
My liner is 15 years old
Why you talking 5 times quieter than music. Didn't finish watching it
