“Candeloro the witch of dress-up. She has an inviting nature. A kind-hearted witch who dreams of ideal things. This witch can't stand being lonely, and never lets visitors to her barrier escape.”
Super late, but here's how I think this correlates to Mami Candeloro is The Witch of Dress Up, representing her "dressing up" and faking her sisterly and ideal personality towards Madoka and Sayaka to show them how a magical girl should be like. The rest of the description also fits how she was before becoming a witch, inviting nature, kind hearted, all of it. She also always felt lonely, after her parents' death so now she hates being lonely and never lets visitors escape, like how she wants to drag Sayaka and Madoka to the magical girl life so they can be together forever. It's pretty sad :(
You can't deny this ending is very poetic, despite its sadness. Even after finding out the truth, Madoka still refuses to give up. She still wants to believe something good can come out of being a Magical Girl.
does she? "You know, don't you? This is the only path left for me" "I want *...* to fight to protect everyone" "Did I... did I really live an upstanding life" In order: Madoka knows she's dead either way, she hesitates to declare her willingness to die for others, and her dying words are begging for affirmation. This is a suicide march because she thinks the right thing to do is to die, which it quite frankly is when weighed against turning into a witch. If this Madoka knew Homura could time travel, she would get the same promise as in timeline 3, the only difference is she doesn't want it badly enough to sell Homura's soul for it. Unfortunately, Homura does.
Yeah, the fact that she didn’t even think Homura might wish to save her already shows how (kinda ironically) hopeless she is and decides to commit suicide under the premise of helping others, a bit like a person who willingly joins the military in hopes of dying in war.
Given the despair that came over her when she found out they'd become witches in the third timeline, she probably would have become a witch if she hadn't gone suicidal.
I would assume that if she had succeeded in killing Madoka and Homura after the revelation, she would’ve immediately become a witch after that moment, before she could turn her gun on herself. Her despair was already too deep from the thought, but with Mami’s loneliness, the minute the others were dead, her despair would’ve consumed her.
I always thought it was weird, the strenght of a witch is supposedly based on the despair she had gone through in her life, I can't understand why Candeloro is so easy to kill compared to Oktavia for example.
+Alyss Bernkastel (Carrie Careless) Well, it explains it by how high a person's Good Karma is. Sayaka's was probably a higher karma, even if she made a 'simple' wish. She used it to heal someone else, not herself. Kyouko's wish was a bit more over it, but it wasn't healing people. It was making people become hypnotized and follow her dad. Still, Madoka has so much Karma that she became a Goddess. Even with all the original loop versions of each character combined, it wouldn't have been enough to grant the kind of wish Madoka asked for. The reason Madoka has so much Karma is because of Homura's own wish, which is centered around her. Plus, Homura went through endless time loops to the point where she had just enough to become a Goddess. So, eventually that karma turns into the opposite...bad luck, or 'bad' karma. The same karma you had before transfers over to your Witch form. This is why if Madokami became a Witch, it would destroy the universe. But when Sayaka or Kyouko turn into a Witch, they're about medium-high level. Plus, some Witches are just more powerful and more difficult to defeat. Sometimes, you have to meet a certain 'requirement' to defeat one (like with Elsa Maria you have to know the blackest of despair, which is what Sayaka was going through and why she turned into Octavia). For Mami...her Witch form isn't seen in the anime, so it's treated in the game like any regular witch boss. At least that's how I see why it's the reason she's so weak in the game. ^-^'
+Rhianna Tanski Well, it has been a while since I didn't see Madoka. And I played the game in japanese without reading the translation here .. understanding everything was possible, but, kinda hard.
+Rhianna Tanski "...countless loops..." Close to 100. Comes up to something like 8 or so years, depending on exactly how long a loop lasts (IIRC, it's exactly a month, but I think it actually comes up as a month and a half according to some - people looked at the calendar in Homura's starting hospital and and... some other event. Can't remember which). What's up with that BS karma explanation? Girls that are in terrible situations are preyed upon by Kyubey and he gives them magical oomph unlocked according to how miserable they were. Take, for example, Homura. She had a semi bad situation, got shit stats (Gen made a rough stat guide; fuck me if I know where it is) compared to almost everyone (she and Sayaka had pretty terrible stats - no wonder, considering the extent of her worries was how to get Kyousuke crushing on her and Homura wished for too much and subsequently got pretty much only her magic, which will eventually run out). Now look at Homura's witch form, because it's a drastic example. She, immediately after witching out, was attacked by an entire team of magical girls. Holy shit, her Familiars were evenly matched with experienced magical girls. So it's pretty damn obvious one's potential continues to rise even after the contract, but it's only unleashed once you witch out. The potential probably starts from anew, which is why some witches are weak as shit, while Homura went through literally years of seeing her best friend dying over and over and over again. Pretty much the definition of Hell on Earth. Also coincidences with there being a release of energy at both times (contracting and witching out). Damn. Wish you didn't talk about such a fucking depressing topic. (I'm talking about Puella Magi as a whole. Holy shit, it literally means they're slaves - the name - you can't get much worse than that.)
When I watched this video for the first time, a terrible realization downed upon me... Even though we did not see Mami become a witch in the anime, as we only witnessed that she went crazy whenever she learned the truth about being a Magical Girl and eventually becoming a witch... Homura must have witnessed this multiple times. Mami slowly starting to second-guess herself and her Goodwill to the point of becoming suicidal and corrupting her soul gem, or having to be put down due to the shock of learning the truth, as she would kill everyone and become a witch afterwards... It breaks my kokoro... I am pretty sure that, at least in one timeline, she became a witch right after seeing or being informed that Sayaka became a witch. Poor Mami ;(

Sayaka was wished back to life in one of the timeline by Madoka. Madoka's original wish is to resurrect the black cat, so it's not beyond Kyubey's power. The issue is more about Homura wanting to protect Sayaka instead of being protected by her.

It’s like he tells Homura. He would’ve stopped them if he felt Kyoko’s death did not serve a purpose. He was just orchestrating a situation to his advantage, trying to send both Sayaka and Kyoko to their deaths. Kyubey is a manipulative monster, plain and simple.
@@abbycollins I just wish the English fan-subtitles were completed for this game. I love this game, but it’s kinda annoying having to use my phone and Google Translate if I want to play the bonus story route, as well as Kyoko’s and Homura’s routes.

Wow this translation is pretty much exactly how I interpreted it when I played it. I'm not all that great at Japanese so I think the Japanese in this game is pretty simple.
Tho, the implication that even without Mami and Homura she was exactly (meaning she is able to defeat it only if she dies with her) as powerful as the all mighty Walprughisnacht is horrifying, but it would explain why durring the show in the second timeline (the first reset where Homura used her wish to try to save Madoka), when Madoka becomes a witch, she is so strong she doesn’t need a barrier just like the big bad Walprughisnacht.
+TheGhostbuster1989 It's not for all eternity - you get used by Kyubey for a cause he's probably lying about! I mean, Kyubey claims not to understand the human concept of lying yet lies by omission and outright manipulates teenage girls into making conclusions that would benefit his marshmallowy ass. Fuck that guy. It's either something easy to confirm (MGs can't function without their SG around) or something literally no one in the cast can confirm (fighting entropy? Oh really? Where's the proof, you slimy bastard). Heat death of the universe is also an event literally trillions of years away. His entire being is - by fighting off only that - showing his self indulgence and arrogance. He're basically saying nothing else matters and that nothing else can do anything about him. It's also pretty damn telling that they sought out other species for their own parasitical gain. He feeds on the souls of emotionally manipulated teenage girls. That's moustache twirling evil and shows his lack of soul (emotions are basically souls there and he never uses magic). ... I have no idea how this turned into a rant. I guess seeing best girl give it her best anf dying depressed left me in a shit mood.

There's probably hundred of timelines by now... Which includes Kyoko "deflowering the spoils of victory [Kyousuke]" after beating Sayaka. XD There's PSP timeline... and movie timeline.... and manga timeline....
What was in Madoka and Homura's friendship that Mami didn't have? Homura and Madoka are said to be "really close", closer than they are with Mami, but... Maybe I'm blind because in the end I can't see what makes them so "close" in the first place. Edit: It took me looking at Homura's first story episode in Magia Record for me to realize that it's seemingly a more romantic relationship. And I thought that it winning an award for being a really good "Yuri" anime was a stretch...
Mami always tries to put on a brave face and act like the perfect role model, and doesn't rely on anyone but herself (as for why she does this... it's tied to her survivor's guilt, which opens a whole can of worms) That's why she couldn't have that close relationship even though she knew Madoka longer than Homura did.
@@baguette3025 And Mami is a senior, meaning she is in a different class and has less of a chance to interact with Madoka compared to Homura, who is with her both at school and during her missions.
Just saying but.. A Magical Girl can't become a Witch if she doesn't NEVER fall into despair or get her SoulGem corrupted.. So.. that line saying that it's an "inescapable" fate isn't really true, is it?
+Lunos Ouroboros Yeah, but how many magical girls are comfortable killing other magical girls once they know the wtiches used to be magical girls? And, doesn't the body stop aging entirely once you become a magical girl? so it's like you can't help but fall into grief if you realize you can't have a normal adult life like everyone else.
+Tanya Kuntz (AuroraMoon) No, you still age. One became a woman through age in a spinoff, but I can't be arsed to find it. (Seriously, all these nuggets from people who read them.) But they're still unable to have a normal life. Killing for them is literally the basis of survival and Kyubey sure as fuck wouldn't help their mindset while at it.
Bludflag Kubey flat out said the body can't age on it own naturally... you had to alter and age up your own body though magic, otherwise it would be immortal. Kyoko Sakura lived for a long-ass time, and yet hadn't aged at all because she didn't bother using her own magic to age up her own body. Also, logically if a magical girl choose to age up she also can choose to age down too... although there would be disadvantages to that.
I feel for Homura, but Homura should had just let things be. I mean I would more than likely do something similar if mu mother was in such a situation.Still I just don't let the odds that are against ANY magical girl. The price of being a magical girl isn't worth the wish
In the game you can play as the Girls and fight witches of play as Kyubey and convince the girls to become magical girls and push them towards becoming corrupted as witches or have a good ending. The endings are different for each girl though

Weirdly enough, Mami's witch form's first appearance looks like a fairy doll.
Deceived both my Madoka Kaname and Mami Tomoe really make my blood boiled.
In the Anime Mami lose her head (literally) is better than this. I mean getting killed is better than turning into a witch and watch your kawaii kohais kill you. Shit this is cruel !
I like how here kyuubei says that its no use and they cant gey mami back she probably cant hear you nust go fight the thing
But when in the animie kyoko ask him if she can bring sayaka back hes like i dont knowww maybeee you can bring her back you should try that.
Kyuubeii dosent trick the girls my ass he knows what hes fucking doing
He technically didn't lie, he talked in roundabout ways to manipulate them
It’s like he tells Homura. He would’ve stopped them if he felt Kyoko’s death did not serve a purpose. He was just orchestrating a situation to his advantage, trying to send both Sayaka and Kyoko to their deaths. Kyubey is a manipulative monster, plain and simple.
he's rational but for his own greed
Right. Every time I think I can't hate him more, he gives me a reason to do just that.
I want this to be released in America for the Wii so badly. . .. .
Man that comment gave me whiplash

I just wish the English fan-subtitles were completed for this game. I love this game, but it’s kinda annoying having to use my phone and Google Translate if I want to play the bonus story route, as well as Kyoko’s and Homura’s routes.
Thanks for this upload and the other Madoka Portable endings you've uploaded so far. Awesome stuff. Awesome, sad stuff.
I laughed my ass off at 22:26
Homura using her time abilities XD
In case you were wondering, I've got text settings preset for each major character. And for generic, one-off characters, I just edit Kyousuke's. Looks like I missed a few.
Thanks for the work!
XD
Wow this translation is pretty much exactly how I interpreted it when I played it. I'm not all that great at Japanese so I think the Japanese in this game is pretty simple.
What?? Madoka-chan won aginst the Walpurgis Night ALONE?? '-' But int this timeline she wasn't that strong, was she? :o
sakura5sango6
technically it is Double K.O.
Madoka ended up dying afterwards
Tho, the implication that even without Mami and Homura she was exactly (meaning she is able to defeat it only if she dies with her) as powerful as the all mighty Walprughisnacht is horrifying, but it would explain why durring the show in the second timeline (the first reset where Homura used her wish to try to save Madoka), when Madoka becomes a witch, she is so strong she doesn’t need a barrier just like the big bad Walprughisnacht.
Words cannot even begin to describe the long, painful, gruesome death I want to see inflicted upon QB. Where's Chris Hansen when you need him?
24:40 I didn't know this was a lesbian dating sim.
also, madoka got feels
lel
Watching this video made me realize how funny it would be to watch QB do nothing but wander around to Yakkety Sax.
Better end than having her head crushed and eaten, still -.-

Actually, I'd rather have a quick death than have my soul suffer for all eternity as a monstrous being consumed by regret.
Which makes his fate at the end of Rebellion his "just desserts", He tried to use Humanity and in the end he got used in the end instead and by the one he was the biggest troll too...Karma is a bitch
omg the fast motion killing mami's witch
i cried laughing
it was so serious
and then
omg the sax
Candeloro looks like a little
fairy
19:05 The look on her face feels like she’s seen days.
mami.... w-why.....MAMIIIIIIII😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
9:47 oh no... in the anime... this is exactly what happens to her :(
More = faster corruption during game play.
Cause madoka become godness of the hope, she become the hope, so it is impossible 4 her fall in despair.
Hello there!
In Mami's route, after dying to Walpurgisnacht, the game route should be won. However, the screen
goes blank and doesn't work. No clue what's going on. I try with the original Japanese version.
I've also tried letting them die to Candoloro. Still crashes.
What emulator and what did you use?
Thank you soooooo much!
+Hachiko1986 I used a real PSP
+Blick Winkel Thank you!!
I suppose that you have the real psp and the real game. I used the iso in my psp but no worked.
Thank you anyway!
Where on earth can I get the English version of this game?
The question is not where, but when.
There's an english-patched version around, just google it.
turtlecheese8 Tradukosoft is doing a translation of the game, which you can use by patching the UMD's ISO.
Mami is so gentle that her witch form is really weak and small.
No, Homura looks after her while the other two are in the barrier. She's calmer with Homura for some reason.
There's probably hundred of timelines by now...
Which includes Kyoko "deflowering the spoils of victory [Kyousuke]" after beating Sayaka. XD
There's PSP timeline... and movie timeline.... and manga timeline....
I want a translation so bad it's fun watching, but I want to play it too
am I the only one going to point out the creepy music box sounds starting in the background at 29:13 ?
Wow...that has to be the most inappropriate for the moment time kill music I have ever seen. Even so, it's kinda funny to hear it.
Actually Sayaka is the Kenny of the show, Mami is just the chewtoy.
mami became candelora the dressup witch
lunala the goddess of the night .....
WOOOOOOOOO WE GOT A GOOD ENDING
What!?
Damn 723 feels what did you do to make Mami,s feel stat raise that high I only have 582 on her my god so many feels
I CRY EVERYTIMEEEE
@@baguette3025
And Mami is a senior, meaning she is in a different class and has less of a chance to interact with Madoka compared to Homura, who is with her both at school and during her missions.
No need to apologize ^^
Everyone makes mistakes.
Oh...but what happens if Mami called Madoka for help? Would it the mother still yell at Mami then?
I wish I could play this in english
6:20 Witch Gisela.
Thank
Just saying but..
A Magical Girl can't become a Witch if she doesn't NEVER fall into despair or get her SoulGem corrupted..
So.. that line saying that it's an "inescapable" fate isn't really true, is it?
Magic makes body of magical girl in living state. So.
Sort of there is is a witch called Roberta who lived all the way to 30 years old but she must have saved up on greif seeds
(Seriously, all these nuggets from people who read them.)
But they're still unable to have a normal life. Killing for them is literally the basis of survival and Kyubey sure as fuck wouldn't help their mindset while at it.
Bludflag
Kubey flat out said the body can't age on it own naturally... you had to alter and age up your own body though magic, otherwise it would be immortal.
Is it bad I really want this game now because of that? Does it make me a sadist to wanna play the game just for the fact you get to turn these girls into witches?
HOW DO YOU PKAY IT. I WANNA KNOW
PLAY
@@abbycollinsnot at all! I believe it would be interesting to see how they would play it in the game. (Plot wise) I’m curious as well and wnat to play it despretly

I guess I will never defeat Walpurgisnacht with Madoka ... =.=
And so it begins....

Yo... WHAT HAPPENED TO THE MUSIC?!
How much feel points can turn the girls into a witch?
The witch stopped time and divided by zero.
MUMI Y
that's why it's game over lol. Homulilly has the same power as her counterpart except her sand doesn't run out. The witch will stop time and eat people a they are frozen in time.
22:26 REALLY YOU HAD TO DO THAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO BE IMBARESD?!
Madoka Magica is always just something else huh.
26:55
(DISTANT RIPPING OF CLOTHES IN THE BACKGROUND AGGRESSIVELY BECAUSE HOW SAD I AM)
Basically it's a witch you can't fight against.
No, I haven't gotten that ending. But I'm done with Madoka for now. I'm focusing my efforts on I/O.
Candeloro is *T H I C C*
9:53 ...That sigh... ;-;
How come modoka screams in the anime when she becomes a witch?
hehehehe you speed up the video with some funny music
LOl dat music in half...
Kyuubei's inner dialogue is so chilling
Kyubey really is a bastard...
20:15 how's the name of Mami's witch form?
Mami = Candeloro
Madoka = Kriemhild Gretchen
Homura = Homulily
Sayaka = Oktavia
Kyoko = Ophelia
+Yuki Chan i know there devil ones of them devil homura devil madoka devil sayaka devil kyoko that all
Thak you! :D

@Gaming Animation I think it's a twist of her witch form and her human form
Homura and Spider Lily
Homulily's witchs kiss is a spider lily
mumi why
I bought this game online but I can't read Japanese (and also can't get a patch) so I'm just going to have to use my phone to translate everything like I did with Tales of the World Radiant Mythology 2....
Yay....
Lmao how did it go
@@kuramiraw544
Well....I finished Madoka's route like 6 times (only translated the entire thing once though the rest was just grinding) and finished Mami's route once (and am doing it again for the witch ending).
So it's going fine just a minor inconvenience....
I got the English emulator fan-patch, but it’s incomplete, so I also used my phone to translate the game, but I only had to do that for the bonus route, Kyoko’s and Homura’s routes.
kyosuke???? dead??? WTF!?
I feel so bad for Madoka
23:11 The familiar that looks like Kyouko appeared!!
23:11
I actually thought the name mistake was on purpose
Nevertheless, the error was amusing to look at.
Thanks for uploading and subbing the scenes in the game! Just one question, is there Mami's good ending?
