I saw this kid by chance 2 days ago on UA-cam in a game against Detroit. In that 9 minute clip he caught my eye immediately and I had to look him up. An elegant fast skater, great hands, good size and posture. He is the prototype of a hockey player. If he keeps working hard, will not get hurt and keeps his head straight, he will be in the NHL for sure. His bowleggedness is not a problem at all, he is probably the fastest guy out there, anyways. There were many superb skaters in the NHL in every era that were bow legged like Mike Foligno, Stephane Yelle just to name a few. I played in the ECHL and Germany´s elite league myself and got to play with a lot of players, but never heard anybody that was concerned about someone being bowlegged.
He has a nice skill set. His skating reminds me of Shane Wright a bit, but could also develop into a Barzal type stride. The bow legs are great for puck protection mechanics, but depending on leg power the acceleration from a stand still may be an issue at pro. All up to him figuring out how to get more power and stability. Great set of hands. It will be interesting to see how he improves over the season.
Although there is a correlation with bow legged and great hockey, it seems with his style of it hes not getting enough from the strides(short). Regardless, wishing nothing but upside for him ✌🏻

you played on the johnstown chiefs and iserlohn roosters? correct?
Nothing wrong with being bow legged. Look at Kane, Ovi, Logan Cooley

His hands are unreal
His stride is going to keep him back. He’s not getting enough power.
