I am inspired to try this runner. Your video work is very good, and even tho' I'm left handed, I can follow your instructions fairly easily. Thank you.
I am left handed too but like most left handers we adjusted to all things right handed. Video is easy to understand for the most part. I always have several works in progress except now so I think I might need to take a break from current WIP.
Thank you! Here's a few ideas... I haven't personally tried these yarns myself, but they appear to be good substitutes based on materials and weight: Hobbii Bungee Mini Lion Brand Cover Story Lazy Days Thick & Quick Mary Maxim Home You could also try searching for "t-shirt yarn" and finding ones that are round (not flat). If all else fails, this runner would be beautiful with plain old cotton yarn as well!
Is there a reason you didn’t stitch a 30” straight run? I’m confused because you can see the division btwn sides. I’ve never done a table runner so wondering if this is the norm? It’s a great stitch - good tutorial too :)
Thank you! You could certainly just do a 30" straight run if you wanted. I designed it with the two halves so that it would look symmetrical because the primrose stitch has a direction to it and I wanted it to look like it was two pieces coming from the center.
Oohh that's a big project! I actually made a floor pouf a few years ago and used a tutorial from Mj's Off the Hook on UA-cam! She has some great tutorials
You could definitely make it into a big blanket! Just chain until it's the width that you want your blanket to be and make sure the chain is a multiple of 3+2. Then work the rows until it's the length you want
You will want to start with a multiple of 3+2 so you could do 62 chains. If you do 62 chains, the runner will be wider than the one I made but it will look the same otherwise!
@@jessicarenea6837 when you start your chain and make a slip knot, the loop that's on your hook does not count. So only start counting after you have the slip knot on your hook. Try that and hopefully that helps!
How much yarn do I buy to make the runner?
I used 1 skein of Bernat Maker Home Dec Yarn!
THATS A BEAUTIFUL TABLE RUNNER FOR AN EVERYDAY OCCASION. THANK YOU MS. SHANNON FOR THE TUTORIAL. HAPPY CROCHETING. 🎉✨️🎉✨️🎉✨️

Blankets! We're always cold
Could I do 64 stitches and it come out the same?

@@Dogwood.Crochet 😭 I tried that and I had 4 stitches at the end.

@@jessicarenea6837 you should have 2 stitches at the end and you skip one and work into the last one. Make sure you do 62, not 64. Hope this helps!
