I had a manipulative friend too. He would always bribe me with my favorite game to do things for him saying he'd let me play it on his phone if I did things in class sometimes they got me in trouble and one day he promised to give me a phone for 20 dollars and so I scrounged around the house for change and i paid him but he took the money and never gave me the phone so i stole it from him
It may not be a really story but it does show that not everyone has good intentions if they're using you for selfish reasons
