I have a BCS 735 10hp with the plow and rear tiller attachments my father bought back 0n May 5, 1987. He used it very little, due to water shortages/price in the Ca Desert, and put in in storage after he drained the gas, fogged the cylinder etc. Was very meticulous with his equipment. It is as clean as that one with the original ACME engine. I have all the paperwork for it (manual, warranty, brochure, sales receipt, even the paper advert from 1987) It sits in my garage here in Wa.
@@JoeBakerOutsideTheBox I found a site that sells parts for them, but as I say I have never used it. I'm positive it runs just fine. Just needs a minor maintenance (minor oiling of movable parts) and it would be ready for the field. I don't farm myself.
HI Bcs are commercial grade tillers and can take some serious work/beating overtime. They are fairly easy to restore to new if the transmissions parts are working properly. You will probably need fresh cables and a tune up kit for the engine, fresh fluid..etc. For the clutch, it can be sometime unstuck but expensive to replace make an offer with that in mind. The tiller attachement for that model is 30 inch. Depending how old it is, The engine is a 8hp Honda which last forever if well maintain. Before that they were Kohler (good but check for parts availability)...it all come down to what needs to be done on it...newer one cost several thousands and older one can be a bargain if the current owner dont want to do any work/maintenance to it. All the used tiller that I bought, restored and worked the land with them, I was able to resell them easily with a profit....good luck

Those old iron kept in the condition you describe are treasures, You are lucky. Are the parts for Acme engine easy to find? Thanks for sharing

Looking at a old 730...are these worth it over say a newer one? Can u put most attachments on these older ones? How wide is that tiller? Thx.
