I have been Fujin too and it's not that hard to get there, the hard part is to actually stay. It honestly is a great filter, I went on a huge losing streak after hitting fujin and it taught me some lessons for sure.

He started complaining about mashing during his opponent's turn, who was keeping pressure while being plus. This embarrassing person doesn't even have the very basic knowledge of a fighting game. You're supposed to attack while you're plus. Mashing happens when the player is pressing buttons while they're minus.
How can he tell exactly that the other person is mashing? I button mash sometimes when I'm learning a character and combos don't just come out.

The closest the opponent came to mashing is poking with some jabs and df1’s.
Mashing during combos is perfectly fine. The mashing Ltg would be referring to if that’s what the opponent was doing, is stringing offensive moves back to back (bonus points if they’re plus on block or have string extension threats)
