I mainly use Mad Viking, the beard and body lotion spray I use only on my skin and never used it in my beard. Great product all around though. As far as other scents for you to try, I really think you would love Valhalla, Fjord, and The Hollow!! As always, great content Dan. 💪🏻🙌🏻
Nice review! I was thinking about trying Viking wash but went Beard Octane. Next bottle I’ll do Viking to try. Want to give you props on a simple detail from your videos. When you show products to the camera I like how you give the camera time to focus. It gives a simple but effective look. Dumb I know but I like how when you take the product away it refocuses to show you or Sam if she is in it. Anyway…keep it up Dan! I have had a new beard routine & the difference is amazing! My wife recently bought me the Mad Viking Black Label oil and butter and they are great, smells of citrus and leather. After putting in the butter I use a blow dryer and boars hair bush to spread out the butter and remove any little grits. The beard lotion is good if you live out here in the Intermountain West with our hot dry summer weather.
Before you buy, just be aware that their supplies are very small right now. I ordered on the 12th of this month and they still haven’t shipped yet but I am looking forward to trying their products.

I have the dragonshead complete set also. They are my kids favorite scent. The shampoo lathers so great. I will say I use the lotion maybe once a week and spray mostly on my neck. Areas where beard/skin meet. I love the body soaps. Valhalla and Ragnarok I think you would enjoy.
Dan, I actually really like almost every one of their sense. I like the beer butter the best. I use the scent called Valhalla. It’s strictly a vanilla sent but great to fall asleep too. I find their beard butter to be extremely smooth and not greedy at all. It might’ve just been a container you got.

I tried the samples and bought the Valhalla oil, balm, wash and conditioner. The vanilla scent is phenomenal.Their wash is my favorite out of all the daily washes I've tried so far (I have only used 4 so I don't have a ton to compare it to). Overall, I like their products and they are fairly priced. My only complaint would be the pump top on the oil. It leaks and is messy.

Not happy with this company at all!! Two weeks passed and order not received tracking number not provided by them. Been calling them for two days now and nobody answers their phone, and no response to emails sent. Great info on the product once it’s been received Dan, just hopeful nobody else has the difficulties I’ve experienced with them

Thank you for doing there other products. I still PERSONALY don’t like there butter compared to other companies butter. But do love there tattoo balm. Use that every day. My fist tattoo balm was mad rabbit. As much as I liked it I have to agree with Sam on the grit of tattoo balms with the grit. Definitely agree mad Viking tattoo balm is very smooth and easy to put on. Still haven’t gotten around to re-trying there oil.for me the 2 oz bottle s are a little turn off. But do understand that there are people that love that as a option. Of corse there merch is badass . Great video 👊🏻❤
I have used this company! The wash and conditioner is fantastic!!! The oil is pretty awesome, but butter I'm not a fan of! The lotion I was disappointed with... I'm still awaiting a product from a company that is a decent midday refresher but the lotion Id hoped would be it and wasn't.

Would you say using the tattoo balm would allow you to get in a pool or the ocean faster than using other products, or should I still give it about a month with using the tattoo balm?
I think it really depends on the tattoo. My last one was big but not crazy shading or anything and I was good in literal 1-2 weeks. This time my recovery is much slower with a couple trouble spots, mainly because it’s a huge almost blacked out area.
Oh dang I thought this was the striking viking or viking revolution cheap brand off of Amazon. Sounds like some of it is pretty good. I can't see using that "lotion" on my beard or hair... I could see using it on my skin though because I hate spreading lotion and sunscreen by hand. What does make you hate lotion so much Dan? Just the feeling on skin?

Hey Dan, how do you feel about the live bearded beard wash? I just got it for the first time. After using it a few times I hate it 😂 It just feels gross basically. It feels insanely dry while it's in and after washed out. So much that it creates more tangles than I usually have. Their oils and balms are awesome though.
I love this company so much. With that said, the oil does not work for me. I have so much trouble styling after use. Their wash is right up there with LCW for me. One of the absolute best! Their butters are great and I love their tattoo balm! I also use their bar soaps. The Black Label Society Collab, Sonic Brew, is so, so good.
Hey, i am debating with myself on what i should buy between cbd or emu oil and i was hoping you could help me with this. My options are Full spectrum 50% hemp seed oil, 50% cannabis extract, cbd concentration 8%, 20ml Or Emu oil 50ml. Ig another option would just be hemp seed oil which would be the cheapest but I'm guessing not the best option here. The aim is to get a bit of boosted growth and better texture for the beard and overall all the benefits .what do you think? The price for the cbd is proportionally 4 times the price of the emu. I found with higher percentages of cbd but that's just way too expensive for me. BTW, together with your recommendation, please tell me a ratio to use considering i also have castor, sweet almond, jojoba and argan oils so the ratios together with some of those, maybe without the castor since I'm using that in 2 oils already. Sry for the long comment but i didn't know where else to ask this... If there's a better place to ask, pls tell me
My only problem with Mad viking beard is the shipping. It’s horrible. Compared to every other brand it takes way longer. I’m in Alabama and ordered from luxurious bastard in California and got my stuff in 4 days compared to mad viking being 2 weeks
FIRST! I just received my Sonic Brew oil they did as a collaboration with Black Label Society, a metal band whose guitarist and singer, Zakk Wylde, has one of the best beards in rock music.
I haven’t ever really taken care of my beard and I came across one of your videos and after watching a bunch of your videos I decided to try a good beard company prior I have only bought big box store beard products so I ordered an oil and butter from Mad Viking I placed my order and a week and a couple days went bye and I hadn’t heard anything from from them about my order being shipped there website says orders usually ship between 24-36 hours I sent about 5 emails and multiple messages and got no reply I called the number they have listed a bunch of times and finally yesterday someone answered and she told me they don’t even have the stuff they need to make the beard butter and It would be a couple weeks before they got it in stock I so got a refund and ordered from BABC yesterday and it shipped 2 hours after I ordered it and will be at my house tomorrow I think it’s pretty shady of mamas Viking they should have something on there website saying how long orders my take instead saying nothing and leaving people in the dark that’s just my 2 cents

I use their biotin wash and conditioner about once a week. Seems good to me, don't know if the biotin is actually doing anything, but it can't hurt.

Hey Teach have you tried their paddle brush!? If you have what was your experience?
I have not, but generally paddle brushes don’t work for my beard
I haven’t ever really taken care of my beard and I came across one of your videos and after watching a bunch of your videos I decided to try a good beard company prior I have only bought big box store beard products so I ordered an oil and butter from Mad Viking I placed my order and a week and a couple days went bye and I hadn’t heard anything from from them about my order being shipped there website says orders usually ship between 24-36 hours I sent about 5 emails and multiple messages and got no reply I called the number they have listed a bunch of times and finally yesterday someone answered and she told me they don’t even have the stuff they need to make the beard butter and It would be a couple weeks before they got it in stock I so got a refund and ordered from BABC yesterday and it shipped 2 hours after I ordered it and will be at my house tomorrow I think it’s pretty shady of mamas Viking they should have something on there website saying how long orders my take instead saying nothing and leaving people in the dark that’s just my 2 cents

There are so many great up and coming companies out there and all I see is reviewers reviewing companies that are established do some reviews on companies like Passport Grooming The Bearded Racc The Bearded Squirrel Florida Boyz Grooming Voodoo Mensctaft and T3

@@DanCBearded And I do have genuine intentions I started a group on FB a year ago for guys who love all things beard products related we just hit 600 members and among those members are a bunch of small batch company owners we do giveaways for these companies and it's just a fun group I've been thanked many times from these owners they've told me that my group promoting them has gotten them a lot more attention and sales
Didn't have a good interaction with them so I've avoided them. BUT it was around the same timeframe as yours, so I'm really wondering if it was the same situation you experienced. It's probably time for me to start fresh with them, especially since they are so close to me.
