Short answer, YES! My Visayan ( born and raised on Negros Oriental) wife of 40 years is only 5'1" tall. I'm 6' 1" tall. We met at UCSD. Our son is 5' 11" tall. This fact makes her very happy. Of course, there are many other factors, but those are in-fact true factors for her. She's very happy that our son is so tall.
All the 4'9" women from the Philippines that I've messaged were looking for a foreign man who is at least 5'6" tall. I don't come close to that (I'm 5'2" tall). So, now I'm thinking about checking out other countries where I might increase my chances of finding a sincere relationship with a woman who is OK with my height.
