Being part of the Solar Sector, I must say Sharks possess 360 degree knowledge. Really, I am shocked with their considerations & cross questions, those were too relevant. Especially, Aman's question about supply chain disruption of Modules.
First, you must consider using 180 degrees for evaluating all dimensions rather than 360 degrees. You say you are in the solar sector but you are unaware of using the correct dimensions Is questionable.
It's not what u see...there is team working on it. All r predefined...n both r promoting solar energy instead of their vision n what they have done....

Look, even for scripting, one should have some gist about the events and that I can see they have. However, those topics were very casual in nature but still it shows they take Mint, ET, Business Express etc. into their consideration for a 360 degree approach. 😜😏

They should have given a simple example like charging vehicle with solar right now requires double the area(car parking + solar panel). But with solar tree they can be at the same place.

Yes but still it can be copied easily, & their production cost is high., also no innovation in panel technology so investment would be very risky.
Basically all they have is a solar mounting solution. Instead of trying this solar tree they should have patented the mounting solution and sell it to big solar companies like Tata & Adani.
Anupam asked the right question, how is it saving space. Agar is flower ko ek rectangular arrangement se compare kiya jaye to isme bhut sari khali jagah hai jahan panel nhi hai, in my opinion this arrangement is wasting space instead of saving it compared to rectangular arrangement of panels on a pole. Aur pole upar neeche karne se kya hoga neeche wale pr dhoop nhi ayegi agar overlap kar diya to. Besides any advantage that you can get in this arrangement by changing height you can get the same in rectangular arrangement.
The empty space can be used for car parking and other stuffs
There are multiple things - It gives you opportunity to install in many uncertain places which is not possible with regular Solar

Being a solar engineer & owner of start up this solar tree is very very costly approx. Double.
It's a kind of college project but making the project into a business is quite a good achievement. A single unit small solar cells are available everywhere in the market it can charge a mobile phone as well as battery light in 2 hours simultaneously. Then What's the point business,if observed carefully the Highway dhabas have those solar cell on a stick or on a steel support.
Hi Abhijit, This Solar Tress can give 100 kWh (Units in a Day) just by consuming 5 Sq Ft Space in Ground (That means you can provide power to three households!) These are not Small Solar Systems - These are big Solar Trees with Big Market Potential

Recently a company called solar square did many podcasts and solar videos with many big creators of India , which made them a bit familiar to common people. And yes just a suggestions by a naive person that maybe you can try to supply it to Indian army , as they have shelters for army personnel in border area where they have a lot of land and they need a large amount electricity too , so you can try there , recently the armed forces have passed a budget to reduce carbon emission so that can benefit you and country both for sure.
I think government should setup these solar panels on roof of every house then we can generate more energy

Inhe mainly ek hi reason affect kiya ki they don't have proper strategy, Future me tata, reliance,adani jaise giants aane waaale hai, inse competiton hoga or agar inse compete krne layak strategy nhi hai toh of course koi invest nhi krna chaahega.

Business to customers is the best choice in my opinion when you develop your own brand. Everybody can use it as roof top solar tree.. where space is not compromised for Personel use
Yes. They should target cooperative housing socieities in Delhi and Mumbai. All of them have some unused funds that the management is keen to invest into something worth mentioning in the annual committee report. The roofs are full of DTH dishes, water tanks, and AC compressors, so ths solar tree wouldn't get in the way and the extra premium will be divided among many households for common benefit.
