@outoftheshed8407 I'm visiting a mate who lives near La Rochelle and then heading to Bayonne, Pamplona, Andorra and Perpignan over 5 days before heading back to Dieppe. Should take in some great roads and cols.
Thanks, mate. I've still got loads of footage to get through yet from the journey up through France. But basically, it was torrential rain from the Alps all the way back to the Peak District. I ended up cutting the trip short,so it only took me 2 more days.
Wow, I feel for you. Rain all that way, think I might have holed up in a nice little hotel somewhere for a few days and then headed back when it was a bit better. Well done for doing though. Where's your next trip?
@jonathanloveday153 it turned out my crankshaft was on it's way out, so I was keen to get back. Off to the canaries next, but I won't be filming it. Loads of videos on yt already.
Id love to get in touch with you and discuss your journey and raft of experience. 2 of us have a ferry booked for Santander in June. We are only near Preston.
Just found your channel via this video. It's a good watch. About your fuel dilemma, why don't you put E5 in all the time? I spend ages looing for garages that sell E5, especially in France, and Germany is even worse! It's a much better fuel for your bike.
The bike seems more temperamental when it's got E5 in it. It cuts out and struggles to start. Never a problem with E10. To be completely honest, it's probably nonsense and just in my head. I have a mate that won't put E10 in his. We ride miles out of the way sometimes. Thanks for watching.
Absolutely cracking series, well ridden! 👍
Great series of video's, im off on my own in July, and I can't wait.
Where are you heading?
