I can't listen to this in all kindness... please listen to John MacArthur's take on women preaching to men.
And...one thing that can be added to the survey that I forgot to put on for 2020 Founder's week is in regard to future speakers - it would be nice to have MBI alumnus missionaries take a day in talking about their experiences etc., overseas. 💜

In all kindness? Quite the opposite. Proud to support you mind friend! Male or female, we don't have time to slow down the message of the gospel !!

Woman can't teach to men or usurp authority over men, it's blasphemy if they do. Obey God with all fear and respect.

@@zoelazarakos9640 I'd stick with obeying God's word over pragmatism. It is also far more kind to say the truth than support belief in what God says is not allowed. More so to please God than people.

"Moody distinguishes between ministry function and church office. While upholding the necessity of mutual respect and affirmation as those subject to the Word of God,5 Moody understands that the biblical office of elder/pastor in the early church was gender specific.6 Therefore, it maintains that it is consistent with that understanding of Scripture that those church offices should be limited to the male gender." (www.moodybible.org/beliefs/positional-statements/gender-roles/)
    ...but then a woman preaching?
    And I say this as a woman...what?
I'm not even sure of what to make of Moody's "Ministry to Women" degree.

I think it would mean ministry to prepare women speaking to women which is more than fine. 😊 This is very much needed as women can sometimes understand certain needs of women than men can of course. 😊
Another thing women can do is for example, a pastor's wife can counsel the women in the church because it's not appropriate for a man to do this alone with another woman. In addition, the wise older women in the church can teach the younger women (Titus 2:4,5).
When women start preaching before men it's almost like they're trying to say " I can do this too" or portray a "one-up" kind of attitude 😑

@@leesy2389 Yeah I get that. Just when I see this woman preaching before men it kind of has me wondering if she is in the "Ministry to Women" degree but then for some reason here preaching to men? Kind of confusing.
