Unique selection. This is an old time classic, though I didn't recall this woman's name at all for some reason. I have heard the song before though. Increasingly rare. Reminds me allot of Brenda Lee when she was young. I'm 59. My dad basically only listened to Country Music. My Sister and Mother listened to allot of stuff. But my Mom loved allot of Country Stars. My Sister was into John Denver. Michael Martin Murphy and Glenn Campbell among others.

Well, well. I've never heard this response song. To me, it almost sounded like a parody. I guess that's because the original by Claud King was such a deep song for me. It had the chance to be a worthy "comeback" but missed somehow for me. But it was cute. Thanks, Don!

I used to joke with my daughters that when the boys come calling that I would sit on the porch cleaning my shotgun. Which I never did.
