Fantastic interview with Henry Fonda. Leland Hayward I learned about in the autobiography of Slim Keith. Leland was everywhere: aviation, photography, theater, movies, Broadway. Because of his insomnia he would bake bread all night long. He was a renaissance man. Rarely do I find information about him because the people that knew him best have passed and there is no film that shows him as he was. The greatest tribute to him Is the autobiography of Slim Keith. Actually the best book about him Has to be the one that his daughter wrote called Haywire. His daughter is still alive and it might be a nice idea to have her talk about her dad on the record. He married fabulous ladies and he raised eccentric, talented , brilliant children. Thank you for this posting.

I'm very close to Leland Hayward's grandson, Leland Hayward 4th. We grew up together in Studio City, California. He's on Facebook and Instagram. I wish there was a lot more to share about his grandfather, as well.
