Alan Ritchson was born to play Jack Reacher! Not only does he look exactly like the character is described in the books, he’s also an amazing actor. Also the whole scene of him taking out the kill squad was absolutely badass, he flipped the switch from Reacher to Snake from Metal Gear Solid 3.
I love that whole Kliner house sequence of Reacher just being absolutely awesome and owning those bad people. Also love LOVE that plot twist so much at the end, i did not think it would be Picard because he had so many times to end Roscoe and Charlie, but i guess it made sense for his part to be friendly and helpful to Roscoe and Charlie and the kids so he wasn't suspected as a bad guy whos apart of the Kliner team.
If they'd have had Reacher shoot an Aircraft Carrier down with a pistol, I would have still said, "Yeah, but did you see that little meth rat twig get shown as actually having the slightest shred of a chance in Hel of getting Reacher's attention, much less pressure him in a fight? What worthless nonsense!"
@@TyrannosavageRekt He didnt get the upper hand. He could just hold Reacher away from him. Reacher never really got a grip on him. Watch again after they fly through the window. The second Reacher is close enough to grab him he got hit again and was on the defense after that. This is actually a perfect way to make a smaller/lighter guy get the upper hand. Give him a strengh and reach equalizer. Not to mention, he looks like he is also well trained in MMA.
Think about it we are lucky that Tom Cruise started this journey because i don´t think this series would have been made otherwise. Now we not only have 2 seasons but a third on the way. Grewat reactions on this series guys. I really love that you´re trying to figure it out on way. Became a Four-sight member just to see all the episodes but there is one missing....when will you release it ?
and Tom Cruise was definitely not fit for the role but we can be grateful that flopped so this could succeed. Although, it’d be pretty rad to have Cruise cameo in the show 👀
@@RedKingdom28 - I mean, he did fairly well with the attitude, but camera tricks only go so far and Cruise is about a foot too small and 100 pounds too light for the role.
The only thing I hate about this episode is that he didn't go through young Kliner like a freight train. I mean the dude handles special forces dudes and he can't wipe out dipshit with one elbow to his bony head?
The Punisher Obviously because he fights superpowed individuals on a daily basis, And he can take an ubsurd amount of punishment unlike reacher who got owned by the cousin in this episode
The reason the skinny guy gives Reacher such a good fight, is in the books Reacher says he hates fighting the little guys because they are so quick, and wiry, and slippery. Hence why this fight is giving him such a problem
These intros are a classic case of over-reaching... The crowbar fight was the only time in the whole series I thought something was just plain unrealistic. There were moments that stretched plausibility but were possible if not probable. Getting hit that many times with a crowbar by someone not holding back; you're just plain gone. I give it a pass because these days writing is so lazy most shows have 2-3 of those moments every episode, never mind a whole season; but the raw realism is my favorite thing about Reacher Season 1 that makes it stand out from the crowd.
You expect me to believe skinny annoying cousin dude is supposed to be a bigger fight threat to Reacher than 3 massive dudes in prison for God knows what ??? Massive stretch but luckily didn’t really take away from the episode.
