Nº 8 - The chord in the strings that gradually builds up at 0:03. Nº 7 - The introduction of the bowl gongs followed by the bird songs played by the woodwinds at 1:05. Nº 6 - The extended string techniques at 4:41. Nº 5 - The bird songs played by the woodwinds at 7:49. Nº 4 - The swirling patterns in the woodwinds at 13:10. Nº 3 - The alto flute solo and the underlying orchestral accompaniment at 10:58. Nº 2 - The build up leading to the climax at 16:57. Nº 1 - The magnificent climax at 17:56.
Yet again transported beyond the realm of this earth and its problems. Flying with the birds in the heavens and enjoying the trip. Pity it’s so short, just landed again with a bump! Track is over.
A unique piece of its kind, with angels and birds, signed by a great master of classical music who deserves to be finally discovered and played all over the world like Takemitsu or Ravel.

The scattered flute progression @ 1:11 really reminds of the World Of Warcraft OST for Tempest Keep; the same scattered flute progression. His pieces seem fantastical (Like what you would see in a game) but very formal at the same time.
Yoshimatsu is probably one of the most underrated composers of our generation. BTW could someone tell me who the artist or at least what the name of the painting is? It's beautiful, full of life and yet has a melancholic touch...
