One common thing across most of these USIC winners is that many of them started their professional careers in other fields, moved to investing/trading quite late in their lives, and have started reaping great returns in their late 30s/40s/early 50s. One thing that clearly stands out about them is that they are humble, emotionally stable, love numbers and charts, and are very meticulous and open to getting into detailed learning new skills/tools in their middle-age years.. That's something that gives a lot of confidence to someone like me who can identify with these traits

53:08 Thank you for asking the question about whether to trade through earnings or wait for them to come out. I think this is an important point that many traders overlook. Some traders who don't know jack, focus on mostly entries and put in stop losses. A stoploss will not save you when the stock gaps down 10% on a "good earnings report" as we saw most recently with PINS.
By far the best investment-related interview I have watched. Very few videos are explaining TQQQ strategies in such detail. It usually stops after someone explains what decay is.
This interview has become by far one of my favorites!! I struggle with holding and I feel she holds the key to my problem. I have 20 minutes left and will be watching it a second time. Is there any way we can study her trades??? Are her entry and exits posted anywhere?
Vibha, you need to write a book! I am thoroughly impressed by your direct approach and your humility. Really well done. I enjoyed this content. Well done to both of you.
I've been tracking Vibha's performance in the investing championships for a while - she's a great trader. I was looking to get in touch with her, but now i don't have to! very much looking forward to hearing this interview. Thanks Richard!
I will go and check myself - but just a question - if somebody has entered the US Investing Championships in multiple years is it possible to track them through the years? Eg just flip back to 2022, 2021 etc and look for the same name? Is there any survivor bias where people drop out and aren’t shown? That is, supposed someone had great performance in 2021 and 2023. But they lost 95 percent in 2022. If they had stopped reporting in 2022 say when they were down 40 percent (ultimately down a lot more) would we ever see that? Not saying that is the case here but just in general. Thx ! (Great interviews, Richard!!)
@@mikelsikel73 There are people who enter and then drop out. No way to know their performance if they drop out and don’t share their brokerage statement.
This was fantastic! I'm glad you covered the swing trading of the TQQQ, although that is just one aspect of her brilliant strategy. I almost didn't watch because the title gave me the impression she is a day trader. One of the things I enjoyed about this interview is that Richard asked specific questions about her stats which is rare in most interviews, but something I like to hear.
Great video accept why skip 2022, as they say, everyone can make money in a bull market but when the tide goes out you discover who's been swimming naked.
Richard, TraderLion and Vibha I can't thank you enough for explaining in detail the TQQQ method for capturing major profits. Admittingly, of all the content I have consumed throughout my +15 years of investing this TQQQ method resonates with me the most. Vibha explains it so well. This is invaluable content that I will be sharing with all those in my investment circle. And the fact I didn't have to shell out a single $ is a SMH moment ! A sincere Thank You !
Love this! I'm absolutely loving listening to this interview, not so many of us female traders out there! My trading process is so similar, so that's so awesome to get validation from a US investing Champ! Thanks so much Richard for the interview and your time and Vibha for sharing your knowledge. I'm so grateful.
she is so humble and natural. also very pretty. loved this interview as i am also looking to learn more on weekly process as my full time job doesn’t allow every day monitoring 🎉
Richard one suggestion, you can have a playlist for interviews that are canslim based or weekly based and from people who wants to buy for 12-18 months. i see a lot of people using the 3-5 day swing method, which is not so helpful for part timers like me who cant monitor market a lot during the day. TIA ❤
I experienced the same fate on SMCI last summer. Built a beautiful position and decided to hold thru earnings. The gap down taught me a lesson I'll never forget . Crazy stock!
Excellent video. Thanks for sharing. I agree with Vibha that trading success is as much about the strategy, market, entry, exit, indicators, etc. as it is about understanding yourself. The fear of loss does influence human behavior is ways that most of us do not understand.

The best interview I've watched, she is absolutely humble. To hear that she admits that she's still learning with 5 years since implementing technical analysis brings great joy to my ears.
Great interview! She went so in depth into her trading strategies. Thanks! I appreciate you sharing your knowledge! Did she happen to mention how long her average TQQQ trade is? I didn’t catch it.
Can someone please summarize her TQQQ strategy? She tracks the percentage change and the number of days between recent swing highs and swing lows. Based on that past data, she determines if TQQQ is overextended (overBought or overSold) and enter/exit. She also does that using 10/21/50 SMAs. Is this accurate? Thank you!
Traders may remember that the indices tended to ramp higher overnight during the end of the GFC and for a few years thereafter. Amazing interview Vibha! Need more interviews from her. So kind and truthful. I have a question - if the market becomes frothy, like it is now. Is there a short qqq etf that will come in play? If so, what is the ticker? You talk about locking profits in bullish markets, but, keen on learning more about bearish markets. Also, do you trade option spreads on TQQQ? Thx
Hi, really appreciate the detailed insights into Vibha's trading - I have one question only , and its about her holding positions upto and past earnings when a stock has already gone up a bit...she mentions that she tends to hold because if she sells and later buys back when it goes lower , she will have to pay short term capital gains tax, so my question is what about hedging her winning position at earnings time with options purchases,? Would that impact her overall profit startegy or tax liability negatively or worse then if she just held on to her original plan?
