Yes thank you, I was wondering what the size was between the two pillars... 2 ft of room inside.. plus it works with a 6ft bar. Nice. I have a 7ft now.. big as hell in the garage lol

Great review, because Corona Virus has everyone including me starting home gyms than Amazon raised the price of this to over 500...I checked the companies website they were out but now they got back in stock I paid 299...50 bucks more but ill take it.
2Sea0ttle6 could you by chance comment the link because I’ve been looking to make a gym for a while now and I’m not trying to pay $500 for the same rack
SeattleDubSix It’s crazy how much the price went up on home gym equipment. The demand is so high at the moment. Once all the gyms start opening up again I think demand will go down and drive the prices back down as well. Thank you for the view 🙏🏼 (sorry I accidentally deleted your other comment linking to the power rack website. My mistake)
Tim Bedard Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I had no idea the price basically doubled. Unless you can find a used one I think the prices will stay high through the summer, unfortunately. I looked around and could not find anything cheaper. I’ll link a better deal if I stumble upon one.
Bought this last night after my gym closed permanently:-( I lift a little on the heavy side so I am hoping that this will hold up well to heavier weights. I paid $350 for it, but the price seemed to fluctuate by the minute, as in it jumped to $370 right after I bought it. Hopefully corona doesn't delay shipping too much. Thanks for the review, considering how many of these there are reviews for on amazon, there are few video reviews out there.
Thanks for sharing that. Sorry to hear your gym closed down. Sadly that’s the story for a lot of businesses rn. I hope it arrives quickly and I’d be interested to find out if it does handle the heavier weight you are planning on using 💪🏼
@@powerbar8991 I specifically bought a 6ft bar with 9in sleeves. So there is 54in of grip space. As far as I know this rack is set up for 46in clips. They do have short barbells that are rackable. Stateside there are many options, GET RXD shorty bar and fringe shorty bar are examples.
The price has been doing up and down a lot with availability. Keep an eye on it and it should drop back down to $259.00. I imagine demand has shot up with everyone doing more from home.
You can buy it direct from Fitness Reality too, I didn't do that I bought it straight from an Amazon 3rd party seller, here is their site www.fitnessreality.com/fitness-reality-810xlt-super-max-power-rack-cage-with-800lbs-weight-capacity.html It is going for a total of around $325, with tax and free shipping. Is it wide enough to sumo deadlift inside the rack?? Thanks :)
No, it’s not wide enough to sumo deadlift unfortunately. Thanks for the question! 👍🏼
Can you deadlift in a power cage?
You can do it straight off the floor inside the rack. You could also do it on the safety pins, but the bar starts about 6-8 inches higher.
How tall are you? Can you unrack a squat with the bar in front of you without hitting the stabilizer bar?
John I’m about 6’2”. Yes I can unrack and do front squats without hitting anything. I should have demonstrated that, my bad.
