When filling out forms always base It on your worse situation,. Don’t base it on sometimes always indicate always. Generally each question on theses type of forms equal points & the more points you acquire often means the degree of support you maybe eligibile for. Never underestimate your requirements. That is why it’s so important to base the answers on your worse days. As hard as it is unfortunately it will mean a more likely positive outcome. If the relevant box is not there then add it. Focus on what you cannot do not what you can. I dislike these forms but they are necessary. Don’t worry if your writing isn’t great it will indicate to them you have problems. Concentrate on developing & keeping your independence now & into the future. Although you don’t really know the pattern of what the future presents you have a fairly good idea so indicate that on the form. Your shoulders over time will likely get worse due to a few factors but the amount of extra stress you are placing on them now is clear so indicate indicate that. Your use & dependency on equipment is vital for you to function now & in to the future, indicate this. I hope you don’t think I’m being mean at all but I have gone thru something similar here in Australia & basing the information on my worse days al, thru the form & adding extra information was crucial in getting my application granted. Hi ' my Mum has just got the dreaded letter and is worried to death she is 69 years old and disabled she was always a hard working lady until she got lung cancer in 2002 and had to give up her job that she loved Thank God and the NHS she had Chemo and one lung removed and survived but the Chemo treatment damaged her nerve endings and she cannot walk properly Now this my Mum said to me she isn't worried but i can tell that she is She got the letter last week and made the phone call this week and is now waiting for the PIP form My Mum is not a young woman and has her off days " This is not helping her i am looking for local disability groups that can Thank God she has me and Dad to look out for her I don't think they realize what they put people thru Thanks for your video it helped a lot

Hi I filled this pip form in in July 17 I was born with Cerebral Palsy but in total I have 9 medical conditions I had a face to face medical I then lost my Motability car they took it away so I appealed and lost the first 2 rounds so I took it to Tribunal and I found out yesterday 1/09/18 that I WON the Tribunal they put me through hell so what ever they do keep fighting I will help you if you it good luck x
You have my sympathies Lizzie, having just had to go through this for my youngest son (high functioning autistic). It seems to be formulated to favour the minimum possoible benefit. I am wary as I most likelywill have to do this myself soon ({Primary progressive MS)

Filling out this form is like a dissertation. We should be able to put the letters PIP after our names as a formal recognised qualification.

I take painkillers anti inflammatory as well for years join the club
i take 15 tablets daily got alot of things wrong with me, just apply for my PIP, cant wait to see what rubbish come out with DWP.
Diagnosis 1989 so there is help avaliable for this year after all
