Usually self inserts are people with Y/N or You instead a name. Kinda like John Doe referring the character as You.
Everyone here saying they didn't understand the romantic interest. And to be honest i do understand, it's more about the personality attraction than look nor what they're made of. Yes, they are a robot but somewhat people like me feel connected to them in hearts, they're my comfort characters and i honestly think this lovey-dovey part is one of the way the characters express themselves. Call me a freak, as on of the people who been feeling lonely and left out, i don't mind loving something or someone that aren't real, because sometimes real people only hurt people like me.
