Dear Amit. Thank you for your video. It has been helpful. I think you have a typo in the reaction force result. It should be P_7=-3.8KN instead of 3.8KN. Best regards
Dear Amit, thank you for the video. What would happen if one memeber had infinite stiffness? Say if member number 5, had EA=infinite, then what would happen to the stiffness matrix and the solution? Thank you.
Where have u discussed implementation issues??? I have solved the same question by numbering in different way bt my stiffness matrix becomes different then yours.. So kindly tell me efficient way of numbering..
because of hinge support at node 3 & 4, displacements along x and y axis will become zero. and node 2 is roller support, so only displacement in y axis will become zero. rest of them is unknown.

Can we do this same structure with Joint or section method.? Having difficulty
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!!!
sir how can be say that U4,U5,U6,U7,U8 are zero and why U3 are not equal to zero
because in roller support, horizontal displacement is allowed.
sir,Please explain how to solve if the supports are in inclined to the structure

sir! please let me know how the boundary condition defined, in this lecture how u1, u2 and u3 becomes unknown and all other becomes zero?
