Just back from Disneyland and stayed in this hotel with my daughter. It was comfortable and quiet, slept great, perfect for Disney. Thanks for all the content that helped us on our first trip to Disneyland Sam 😊😊
I really like the Ibis Budget, I stayed there once and I booked it again for September. I really like the location with the mall only a few metres away, and I was really thankful in the evening to take the less-crowded train and didn't have to take the shuttles which were incredibly busy. I also felt very safe in the area, even in the evenings! Can totally recommend it
Thanks for the video Sam! I booked this hotel for our last night in August and wasn’t sure what to expect, after your review I feel so much better about it!
Hi Sam. I love the area outside the hotel. Very green and quiet. I know I don’t comment often but I’m really loving the videos you’re sharing on your channel as the things you’re sharing is really helpful for my upcoming solo trip in October 2022. Thankyou for sharing everything you do on your channel. It is really helpful and I love to research things before I go on my Trip so I can plan and be prepared as it’s going to be my first ever slo trip. Your video showing the premier on the Eurostar and many other things are things on your channel are really help with answering questions I need to know. I don’t know if it is just me but some research is limited online so I am glad you’ve shared the things you have on your channel as it’s answered many questions I have had in the past so the things you’ve shared are really helpful with my upcoming trip to Disneyland Paris. Don’t worry about talking to much as the taking really helps as I’d rather have every answer to my questions and more so I know everything is covered. Yeah I agree on not really sharing prices on the rooms as they can vary depending on the time of the year. I am tempted to book a partner hotel in the Val D Europe and park tickets separately to try cut costs down. I love how you share warnings like the step when going in and out of the bathroom as I know many people (including myself) that would trip over that step. Don’t ever worry about over sharing the details as it is great being a viewer as the detail helps many people including a solo traveller like me as I like to research many things before my trips and I find it annoying some content isn’t out there that answers my questions and your content has answered so many of my questions which has helped with my upcoming trip. Sorry if my comment is so long xxx
We stayed here on May for our first trip to Disneyland, being so close to the RER and only €2 to get to the park in roughly 5 mins was a huge plus for us! Only compliant was air con didn't work and staff didn't have a fix, for anyone wondering, if you're looking for a Travelodge/premier Inn style experience then go with this, clean and comfy, all we needed! A tip for anyone, if you shop with Tesco, you can use your Tesco vouchers to help pay towards your stay, they are worth x3 in value when using the rewards program, we stayed for 4 nights and paid just 44 and a 100 Tesco voucher, huge saving to the trip, thanks for the great videos
No problem 😊 Tesco now only does double up and think the rer has gone up slightly, still less then €3 though , we have also now stayed at the resdihome opposite the ibis, has a kitchenette area and alot more space in the room if prices are similar@@melinafiol
Oh wow Sam thanks for showing us this! I know exactly where this is as I got out the Exit for the train by accident 😂😂 5 min walk from the Mall aswell !
Glad you had a good stay there. We did not have good experience in that hotel. We waited more than 1 hours waiting in the reception during check in since there is only one person for both ibis style and ibis reception. We stayed there in May 2019 because it one of the hotels that is near the outlet. We booked 2 rooms that supposed to have air-conditioning but the rooms are so hot. You cannot adjust the temperature and the reception would not provide fans. You also have to pay for deposit for electric kettles.
I was considering this for my next trip but haven't seen any reviews of it yet... And then you release this, what are the odds?! Thanks so much for another super helpfull vlog!
Hi. Thank you for your video with Ibis budget. I like to use this economy hotel. I was recently in Edinburgh and I recommend this hotel, especially the room with a bunk bed for a child. I just wish the breakfasts had more choice. Thank you
Currently staying at Residhome opposite the ibis thanks to your review, great location especially for a family. Thank you for all of the excellent content, by far the best DLP Vlogger.
@@louise7358 It’s quite good, beds are comfy and rooms are clean from my experience. Great for a long stay (we’re staying for 20 days) because of the convenient location.
Been loving your videos! It's been good prep! Are there any shops around the hotel where I can purchase a pack of bottled water? I've only seen videos of people going into the shopping centre to the supermarket there
Was super happy to see this review! I'll be staying there in September and it's put my mind at ease to see how good the hotel is. Question, how are the staff with English? My French is terrible (my language learning was for other languages - Spanish, Japanese, and German)
Thanks again. Another to add to my list since flights from the states can be pricey I need to be able to find nearby places to stay. Can't wait until august
Hi Sam we are travelling next year sometime a family of 4 1st time to dlp was looking at staying at explorers hotel as seemed the best for kids do u have a video of that 1 or have u stayed there before any tips would be appreciated as it looks to be expensive everywhere from what I have seen from your videos so pleased to have discovered your channel its helping alot
Great hotel tour.. I love looking at all the different hotels you stay at.. This one is so handy for the park.. Just wondering what the trains are like at the end of the night after fireworks, I know the shuttles are terrible! 👍🇬🇧
We travelled from Disneyland on the RER all the way to Les vesinet which is the other side of Paris. We left Disneyland after 11 and there was Trains every 20 minutes. Just be prepared for a busy train!
My friend & I stayed in this Ibis, and you are right it’s such good value for the money. When I came solo in May I saved about €20 and booked into the Ibis Budget next door - it wasn’t worth the saving as the bed was SO uncomfortable! Definitely rate the Ibis more highly. My only annoyance is no kettle - I need my morning tea 😂
I went to ibis budget Paris Porte de Vincennes. I loved it because it is cheap and nice people. I went for a week to paris and could combinate it with de RNR to Disney. It was only 25 min. from station Vincennes to Disney. Just some disney music on and you are already there. And in the evening you can go to Paris.
I was curious do you ask every hotel if its okay to film there or? Thankyou for this video, maybe me and my family can try this instead of paying so much for a room
Hi! My friend and I stayed at Eklo hotel, Marne La Vallee, I paid 144 euros for 2 nights (breakfast excl.) for the both of us, so that's an option as well! There's a bus stop close to the hotel as well :)
It looks clean and although basic you don’t really need much more . I noticed that when the windows are shut the noise from the train’s was very minimal .
I personally wouldn’t stay at an ibis hotel, it’s a bit too simple for my taste. But it seems fine! I’m curious what you think about hotel Le Cheval Blanc in Jossigny, it’s a bit more expensive but if you book in advance it’s the same price as when you book last minute at Ibis. I’m going to stay there for 3 nights next week! They are not a partner hotel but they have their own shuttle service.
Just thought I'd let everyone know that there are two Ibis hotels on site here - Ibis Marne-la-Vallee Val d'Europe, the one Sam has reviewed, and adjacent the Ibis Budget Marne-la-Vallee Val dÉurope. The latter can accommodate 3 people in a room, whereas the regular Ibis cannot. The budget rooms have a double bed with a single cross ways up above them (so not suitable for very young children probs). The entrance is a bit further along from the regular Ibis entry. Pricing is even cheaper than the Ibis and they are very basic rooms with a tiny ensuite but useful if there are three of you travelling. I haven't stayed at the Budget version yet (first time upcoming December 2022 trip) but thought people might like to be made aware of the difference 😀

Hi Sam I have used the Ibis hotels before. In my experience they are great for a base to work from as a B and B. Good value
Agreed x
Thanks Sam looks a really good location on a budget. I’ve stayed in an ibis in Belgium.
Have you ever stayed at Stay City aparthotel marne-la-valée? x
I haven't, Ceri - will have to try it at some point! x
Hey Sam are you gonna be in disneyland for the avengers campus opening?
