Sir, i have one doubt as am having versant test. In repetition of sentences after completing the sentence as answer there will time gap till we get beep sound for the next question to go on. In that time gap to fill the time after repeating the sentence can we count one two three or say anything . ?

What information do you need? I am not an expert on Visa. If VEPT stands for versant then everything I mentioned in the video will work for you. If you practice. Practice is the key and you need to record your own voice and listen.

Yes you can search for versant mock test. You will get enough test to practice from versant.
One thing that the Versant Demo Test may not be free. The reason is that they want to limit the number of genuine people taking this test. I believe it is a good investment. Think how much money you will lose when you fail the real test. Maybe a job. So I would invest in that demo test if I wanted more practice.

In Versant they dont use any slang. They use normal english but it is more UK or US based english. To pass versant you have to practice listening to english podcast from British people and the be able to repeat after them. You can repeat the sentence in your own tone.

You have to say the story to make the exact sense. If you can remember the exact sentence then good. Otherwise if you tell the story without losing the context then also it will be fine. In practice decide which one you want to do.

This is my assumption that every company may have different pattern of Versant Test They may have asked for a custom versant for their company so in that you may not have the Typing Segment.

You dont need storytelling for Versant Test. Watch the video in the Description. It is a technique to speak on any subject for 1 to 2 minutes.

Sir, I got less mark in listening and more mark in speaking. Please suggest me how can I improve my listening.
Listening start listening to BBC English News Edition. Listen for 1 minute. Then summarise the news in your voice. Record and listen back. See if you have accurately summarised. Do this practice till you become confident of your listening abilities. Then you can get good in both listening and speaking. In case for Listening if you have to listen and then write then listen and write in notepad. See the difference whether you are able to replicate information single sentences as well as multiple sentences.

I am not sure about this. Also I don't think that the result for speaking is immediate. It takes a few days for the result according to me. When I had given the test this was in 2015, I got the result after 14 days.
It depends on the company, the company is able to hear your answers, certainly most of them don't take time to do it . So, yes they can hear your answers

Sir is google docs is same as versant for detecting voice for practice purposes
Google Docs AI will be better than Versant. I am not sure if Pearsons the parent company who owns the Versant Test has updated their voice recognition software. Chances are they have not. But with google docs or any voice to text software will be very accurate to identify where you are going wrong. So practicing with these softwares can help. If you speak slowly and steadily just like they do it in Versant Test Practice then it will be better. The machine will be able to record your voice and words correctly. You can use Google Docs to tune your speed of speaking.

Use the existing sample test and create your own test. The most important thing is to practice speaking clearly. So record your own voice and practice reading and listening to your own voice. Make sure it is clear so that you can pass your test. Best wishes.

You will have to practice more. Watch this video multiple times. Note down what are the things you need to practice. Practice. Record your own voice and see if you are speaking each word clearly. Improve on your speaking abilities. All the exams in the world can be cleared by practice. Practice so many times that there is no chance for you to fail. Spend about 1 to 2 hours daily on this practice. After one week you will be better. After 2 weeks you good. After 4 weeks you will be great. Don't give the xam again before you know that you are great. The whole point is that you just need to clear this exam once. And that will not happen by giving exam again and again. It will only happen if you practice again and again before giving the exam. Watch the video - Take Notes - Practice - Practice - Practice - Give Exam. You will pass with 8 bands.

Do we need to type one only word or more than one word is fine?
Your answer can be one or two words. It depends on the question. So whatever is the right answer. Like for example What is frozen water? = Ice and Where do lions live? In the Jungle. That way, you can answer.
True but the recorded instructor says ..speak normally as you speak with a friend ....thats where the test center itself givng wrong info ...like after speaking normally ..sometimes the recording is not clear ..and as it is computerised ..all machine results are done.

The only solution to this is practice. One thing may be that your typing speed is less so when you are hearing and typing then the challenge is that you may miss out on some words. If this is the case then work on your typing speed on a regular keyboard. After that find some examples as many as possible. Then listen and type simultaneously till you get your speed right. Other thing may be that you have challenge in understanding english. If this is the case then listen to BBC news for 10 to 15 minutes everyday. Remember do not watch news only listen to news from BBC. Most of the english used is that kind of english. Also relax before the exams. Because these types of exams can really get you nervous. And getting nervous does not help. So learn how to become calm before, during and after the exams. This will work in your favour. Best wishes.

You will have to practice at least 4 times a day using different topics. If you watch that video and practice then within a few days you will be able to speak on any topic impromptu. I think they send it to you by email. If you are giving on behalf of a company then the company may get the score. You may or may not be informed of the score. But if you have given your email it will come to you.

Hello Manoj, I have no idea about the Watson glacier test. I had given the Pearson English Speaking Test similar to Versant English Test so I was able to make this video. I'm sorry but you will have to search for this video somewhere else. If I find someone who has given this test and scored good then I will make it with help. But cannot gaurantee.

Hi Shubham, You have to listen to some english podcast with british accent. There is an app in android called Podcast Republic. In that search for english speaking podcast. Listen to that. Remember you should only listen to these conversation in audio. Because in Video we are able to understand easily. So you have to get used to that accent which will happen slowly. If you listen to an english podcast everyday for 15 to 20 minutes then you will see a big change in your understanding of accent after a few days. In 21 days you will be comfortable. In 65 days you will be kind of a master in understanding their accent.

Yes SVAR Test is similar. It is a new company with cheaper test so BPO companies are moving to this test. But the testing pattern is similar to Versant. You can use the same ideas to pass the SVAR Test.

Hi Madhu, I think your test must be over by now. Somehow I missed this message. How did the test go? You have to understand that the most important thing is to record your voice and see that your english is clear. Because this is the main thing that the test is trying to findout. And practice is more important. Let me know if you passed the test or not.
In case of story retelling can we first write down a particular sentence in the note book and then repeat?
Yes you can do that. But you may have less time. If you try to write it down and repeat it is possible that while you are writing the sentence you may miss the next sentence. Even if you want to do that then practice that way. But if I am giving this exam I will practice listening and remembering the sentence. Remember when you are listening and writing you are using multiple parts of your body. Ears, Hands, Comprehension. Etc. So you need more focus. See if you can practice without writing. See what you are good at and use that method.

I am facing problem while repeat sentences, could not understand accent.
Varun watch shows like Office in English. Initially you can keep subtitles ON. But later you should switch them OFF. Then you can also Listen to Podcast. There are many Podcasts available for English Speaking for Versant or IELTS. Check those - they will help you a lot. Then it is all about practice. And yes focus. Improve your focus. Find out some focus exercises you can do. Learn to focus on one thing for about 30 mins initially and increase it to 60 mins. That will change everything for you.
