Idk man, to me he recycles quite a few concepts and moves. And this is coming from a massive Skitzo fan, never seen him be so stuck on sharing information.
Yeah I meant everything as a whole lol, but then again same can be said for Waydi. But if you watch Waydi enough you know that he really doesn't give two shits about repeating concepts lol, he kinda just goes for it without second guessing. You can see Skitzo faltering a lot in that sense during this battle, especially rounds 3 & 4.
Kiiro Sagi Umm idk if we’re watching the same Skitzo but he always recycled his moves. Maybe not all the time, but you can see similar moves in most of his battles. Almost every dancer recycled their moves so stop tryna make it seem like Skitzo is superior than every other dancer.
The ending of the last round is that spirit in battle dance that I really miss nowadays. Just want to say that this was a clear win for Waydi, when it should of been either a tie or a hard debatable! Yeah..i see why people keep saying that Skitzo is holding back, i don't think he feels the music when this happens. I mean..give him some songs with lyrics and he's going to kill it. This was Waydi's terrain for sure plus he had the public on his side. Well all in all both did great!
But Waydi kills songs with lyrics too lol, if anything songs without lyrics are way easier to dance to. Skitzo just didn't do that well here, but understandably people are disappointed so they wanna say he was holding back. You can feel the uneasiness from him particularly in rounds 3 and 4.

Waydi's ability to hear a beat, walk inside of it, and then proceed to destroy is unrivaled right now (from a freestyle standpoint) IMO. He's not super athletic or overly acrobatic, but the way he uses simple movements and kills the beat is just phenomenal. Skitzo is super dope as well, the bone breaking along with being able to dance almost any style makes his tool kit basically endless. I think he was a little uncomfortable with the music (which was utter trash aside from the first and last song btw), and that slowed him down in some of the rounds. I think once Skitzo gets comfortable with some of the random ass music they tend to throw out in battle settings like this he will straight up hurt peoples feelings lol. Waydi is definitely in my top 5 dancers right now, he is on a crazy streak. Even though this was an exhibition battle, I think Waydi won most of the rounds. @@babygnome215Not necessarily that, it’s more so that many of the French dancers are given a playlist of some of the songs that are played during these events… cause it’s a French event and the French Hip-hop and dance community are a bunch of egotistical individuals that wanna show that “France’s hiphop is superior to anyone else” that’s how it’s been for years. LMAO ghetto style trolled us, they told us no videos would be out so people could buy tickets when they knew damn well they were gonna film this battle 😂😂 well played guys, well played
Skitzo and Waydi killed every round but this night was Waydi's night slightly more (crowd was quite biased though). The last round when they hit that combo at the end had me like 👀 they need to pair up and battle together man
It was "slightly". The crowd's hype for Waydi made his rounds look a lot better than Skitzo's but that wasn't really the case. My opinion, you can disagree if you want
Okay. Before I give my opinion on this battle. I'll clarify. I was there watching it live when it first happened and there wasn't an option to rewind any parts, one look at each round was all I had so it was hard to pick a winner or even judge anything. But now that they have the battle released, I re-watched everything several times. Gotta say, interesting angle. Alright, now, firstly, and this is coming from an aspiring dancer influenced heavily by both these dancers and their respective styles, and had originally thought that Skitzo would take the cake and win in this kind of match-up. But holy damn Waydi! The musicslity monster destroyed this exhibition. As much as I thought when I saw this battle live that it was a tie, it was really close, that Skitzo brought it back at Waydi every round. I can now say: Waydi won a majority of the rounds with his ridiculous musicality. His freestyle games top-notch at the moment. Best freestyler this year. It was close though. Hip-hop really has become something unpredictable and big. First round: Skitzo won - his musicality, energy, body control, moves, execution, lyricism were insane. He was hitting the lyrics just as much as the beat. Round two: Waydi won, if you pay close attention to every part of his body, especially his fingers and feet, then you'd notice how his level of lite feeting hit everything that the top of his body couldn't. All the ticks, snares, kicks and other minor parts of the beat weren't left untouched. Either his chest pops or feet hit those. AND HE DID ALL OF IT WHILE STILL GOING WITH THE MAIN BEAT. Round three: Waydi, he basically showed his musicality just as much as in the second round. Hitting the beat, both main and minor one the same way he hit the second round beat. His ears are just abnormal and inhuman. Round four: Closest round out of the first four. Skitzo's musicality for the main beat was on point. And at first I wanted to tie the round. But the more I watched Waydi's round, the more my mind changed from tie to another Waydi win. His musicality was simply too much on EVERY SOUND. Little and big both. Round five: it was already clearly noticable how Waydi got more love from the crowd during the past rounds. And whilst he KILLED that beat and this was one of his best rounds out of all 5. I give last round to Skitzo because of how close his musicality was with Waydi's and how much he was killing it. Closest round in the whole exhibition. I EXTREMELY liked the part when Waydi was connecting with Skitzo, collabing, showing great chemistry. Waydi helped Skitzo get an insane crowd reaction. But even then I saw how Skitzo hit that part by himself even without Waydi giving him a hand. And after that part Waydi was hyping Skitzo up, shouting of hype. So basically: 1st - Skitzo 2nd - Waydi 3rd - Waydi 4th - Waydi 5th - Skitzo And while it is true that there is no real winner, no real judges or judging in this battle, since it is a exhibition. But we're still allowed to speculate. And I'm being 100% unbiased for either of them...
I'd love to see Waydi and Skitzo go head to head together as a team in a competition like Fusion Concept, Juste Debout or even possibly against each other some time during a Summer Dance Forever event in future years. Either way. If these two teamed up and battled les twins, it'd be quite the battle. Though I do think they'd win that pretty easily. Not eating their opponents. But instead just melting them in hot flames.
I agree with most everything except the last part. It's fine if you hate Les Twins, but if they go in as hard as say during the RBH or Redbull BC One battles then tf would you say lmao. Melt in flames is too much exaggeration bro. If anything I might as well Skitzo melted in flames for this battle lmfao, didn't feel him nearly as much as I did Waydi if I'm brutally honest.
Why you gotta bring up LT anyways come to think of it, this is a SKITZO vs WAYDI battle LOL. Once fan turned into hater ass without even looking at their recent workshop freestyles haha
Sure bro, have you seen Lau's freestyle to Motions at their May SF workshop from this year? That's one of my favorites, absolutely zero writtens in that freestyle (or "those" since there's two clips of him dancing to the same song). Or Larry's freestyle to Nancy at iamphresh, by far my favorite from him this year (no writtens). If you and I have different standards of what "writtens" are, then that's a separate topic lol.
If you notice in the 3rd round, Waydi was "hittin" to every snare, bass and hi hat. That's what got the crowd wild because he put visuals to the drums. Son knew what he was DOIN. That shit gets the crowd hyped EVERYTIME!
I don't know really much about freestyle but this guy Waydi killed every single beats and his movements was so precise and flawless, even his finger hit the beat!!? Just incredible!!
Im a OG hip-hop dancer myself since the mid 1980's and early 1990'S im 45yrs old now... I LUV❤️ these young kat's keeping the passion alive for us old heads... Its so great to see!!!☺️Well Im going to keep it 💯 I truly luv my man Skitzo but DAMN that last Rd I think it was mins 14:00 & 15:00 Waydi was truly on fire🔥with his body movements, footwork and his body control plus not to mention getting the crowd into it!!! But much respect goes for both young brother's!!! keep the dream alive young kat's☺️👍!!!
Loggan Both of them are awesome, you can see the deep influence of Les Twins (espec. Larry) on Skitzo, he's danced w/them & been to their workshops..Would love to see a battle between him & Larry!😊
world class performance from both two dancers. I like them both styles but i def have to give this one to waydi. He dominated the battle from start till the end. Much respect.
Well yeah but what I'm saying is in the sense of that he was lacking In other words I don't blame him The crowd was wack, the songs sucked and we'll do the math I just like the ending
Watching this a few more times, I noticed Skitzo keeps looking up at the DJ like, "Really?" I feel bad for the guy, AND Waydi actually because both of them could have preformed so much better with better music. Skitzo didn't know any of the tracks and although it looked like Waydi did, those don't completely match his style. Rematch with better music, I don't care who wins as long as they are able to bring out their best with better music....and a less bias crowd. Also although Waydi did help Skitzo's mood in the last round can we talk about how he was calling Skitzo a biter for a second there? Not every move on one knee is a Criminalz move amigo, simmer down.
Just wanna point out one thing - energy is very crucial in a battle. It can make or break your round. Here, Waydi received way more love from the crowd than Skitzo. Look at his side of the crowd and their body language during his round. They were very alert. During Skitzo's round they're giving lazy looks and sometimes not even looking in his direction. Yes, Waydi killed it but so did Skitzo and the crowd didnt react the way they did for Waydi. So Waydi fed off that energy (of course, combined with creativity and musicality) and outperformed Skitzo (who also had insane creativity) in each round. You only saw at the end what that very energy would've done to Skitzo, when he killed that last round. They should have a rematch in a neutral environment lol
If you put in headphones you can actually tell Skitzo got quite a lot of cheers too, so you can't say the crowd was THAT biased towards Waydi. Provided Waydi did indeed do better than Skitzo for the most part, but I know many will disagree. Just boils down to what battle environment you expose yourself to regularly and what you think constitutes a win.
I don't think you and I have the same standards of what extreme bias is then lol, agree to disagree. I heard enough cheers to think Skitzo got a decent amount of praise; not every round has to be full of insane loud cheers. Otherwise you probably won't understand why Icee/Alex won against Skitzo even though they had less cheers lol
Alex Vermlino If I went by your logic, then Larry's RBH rounds for example were unimpressive, because the crowd was either asleep or biased. But truth is, he killed it even though he had close to no support. His strife battles had the crowd sleeping too, but it turned out to be one of his best performances (And his round at Summer dance forever 2016 for God's sake !) . So it goes to show that you can kill it without support from the crowd. However, that isn't to say though that the crowd support is not important in battle, it convinces dancers to do more and interact more with the audience. Here, obviously the crowd was partial towards Waydi because he's French (what do you expect, it's like in any sport events) , but Waydi knows a good deal of songs thanks to his DJ past. You could tell Skitzo was struggling to groove on the songs, even though he landed some impressive beatkills.
Ken Inao I did have headphones in, and the crowd was definitely biased lol. I'm not even talking about sound, look at their faces during skitzos round. Some are actually just watching waydi as if he's the one dancing. And I'm saying Skitzo did some moves that if Waydi did, the crowd would go insane. And I know that Alex/Icee won despite getting less cheers (even though the audience was quiet during that final anyway) but obviously they don't need cheers to channel that energy into their performance. And I feel like Skitzo does need that energy, he would've performed much better with it
Skitzo, you can still grow bro. Your potential is limitless. I noticed you dance better when you're having fun. I hope to see you in many future battles. Love and respect from Italy.
Sick battle. Music was trash but I lowkey expected that anyways. Waydi's side of the crowd was kinda biased but that's normal at his home event. Both dancers killed it, but Waydi took it this time. Also, Skitzo and Waydi should really consider pairing up, I saw a lot of potential in that last round!
LKmight They've actually paired up before - at a battle in China this past summer. Only problem is no cameras were allowed from the public. Check out Yak Films' battle channel to see a recap of it.
yeah man i saw it, it's so unfortunate that no videos will be released! They should pair up again where cameras are allowed was what I was meant to say😂

Love them both... but Waydi was on fire 🔥🔥🔥
Cause the crowd lit him on fire. They slept on Skitzo heavy.
Gracias por esta batalla me hizo el año yahoooooo!!!!!
Waydi with that beard and those immortal rounds out here looking like final level boss on steroids
Beards are so gross
I think this is one of the best battles in history 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
waydi my boy my men my dancer, for me you are the best thx
LMAO ghetto style trolled us, they told us no videos would be out so people could buy tickets when they knew damn well they were gonna film this battle 😂😂 well played guys, well played
This battle was expected as a season of GOT !!! Fortunately it was filmed. Thank God
Dope battle, respect
Skitzo and Waydi killed every round but this night was Waydi's night slightly more (crowd was quite biased though). The last round when they hit that combo at the end had me like 👀 they need to pair up and battle together man
Didn't they pair up in Shanghai though? I saw in one of the Yakfilms a short clip of a routine they were practicing.
Oh yeah, but sadly those videos won't be released so we cant see how they did!
lets be honest here, it wasnt just ''slightly''.
It was "slightly". The crowd's hype for Waydi made his rounds look a lot better than Skitzo's but that wasn't really the case. My opinion, you can disagree if you want
Nah, this wasn't about bias but who was the better dancer. Skitzo got bodied fair and square.
Amazing battle !
So basically:
1st - Skitzo
2nd - Waydi
3rd - Waydi
4th - Waydi
5th - Skitzo
And while it is true that there is no real winner, no real judges or judging in this battle, since it is a exhibition.
Tell me what you think! It's fine if you don't think they're good, I personally think they are since I prefer to have them do zero writtens lol
If you notice in the 3rd round, Waydi was "hittin" to every snare, bass and hi hat. That's what got the crowd wild because he put visuals to the drums. Son knew what he was DOIN. That shit gets the crowd hyped EVERYTIME!
Is it just me or does @17:25 give you goosebumps?
this was a dope ass exhibition , 🙌🏾 whoever got this together good shxt cus i love both these dancers , truly great
Waydi's dance makes you see the music (unbelievable)

Y'all crazy is hell, Skitzo did real good! Just remember it's Waydi house tho. His ppl will go with him. But both killed it
E brasileiro
I don't know really much about freestyle but this guy Waydi killed every single beats and his movements was so precise and flawless, even his finger hit the beat!!? Just incredible!!
they both went off respect
se battle est tout simplement une tuerie
Skitzo is just on another planet all by himself. His sharp movements, technique, his non human moves are unmatched.
Both my idols!! both winners for me. Same level!

But much respect goes for both young brother's!!! keep the dream alive young kat's☺️👍!!!
my man skitzO, both killed it
Porno
without showing too much, changing a bit, adapting with respect skitzo still is the overall better dancer
lomymymy Nah man
@lomymymy did we watched same battle? lol
Loggan Both of them are awesome, you can see the deep influence of Les Twins (espec. Larry) on Skitzo, he's danced w/them & been to their workshops..Would love to see a battle between him & Larry!😊
That twin dance connection was something serious
Guys skitzo is not wearing his signature all black lab 4s, he always kills it with those, dj should be fired
world class performance from both two dancers. I like them both styles but i def have to give this one to waydi. He dominated the battle from start till the end. Much respect.
🔥🔥2017 The Best Battle🔥🔥
まるうさ les twins
There’s a mutual respect for each other you can tell! Great battle!
Legends Meeting 💪
Is there a petition to sign for another battle the world needs a part 2
You all knew someone was gonna ask.... song list?
Both murdered it.
Yo the ending between the both of them nasty😅😅 I like skitzo but he was lacking till the end
Sixto Martinez 😂😂😂😂
hes not lacking its just it almost looked like he didn't want to be there, damn crowd so biased
Well yeah but what I'm saying is in the sense of that he was lacking
In other words I don't blame him
The crowd was wack, the songs sucked and we'll do the math I just like the ending
Sixto Martinez he is lagging you mean hahahaha
Sixto Martinez cuz the songs were trash
U guys did ur best. That's all that matters
When 2 titans battle, I know I've been waiting for this for a while im sure you guys have! What a sick battle!
Bro the bad and boujie one was lit asf y'all know the song ?
whos here in 2025? still remembering the good old times for the love of hiphop
Ken Inao lol. That crowd is definitely biased. I have headphones in and it makes it easier to hear and see the bias.
I like skitzo a Lot , But damn My man waydi Got that for me with every signle movement , Muscality from another planet , Whole new level
What is this damn last song name!!??
