    I've owned mine since new. It has been turned into an adventure bike but you are so right when you talk about canyons. I have lent it to a friend with a BMW1200 of the same vintage. He said to me that he was going to really miss the TR, enough said. I have done 800 km in a day on mine with no problems.

    Can you please explain your audio setup? The sound in your videos is amazing.

      I have a GoPro Hero 8 black, I use the gopro external mic adapter, and a sony stereo mic that I stuck in to the foam in the chin bar (not the cheek pad) this seems to work. I had to Velcro the adapter to the outside of the helmet, which is a bit of a pain as it can come loose, also this set up requires the battery cover to be off the camera, so its not really protected as it should be, but it seems to work for now!

    I've had my terra since 2020 amazing bike and truly under appreciated shame on BMW and KTM for causing this bike to fall into the void of purgatory by not offering support for it in current times 😥

      Partially a victim of the change in hands of Husqvarna to BMW and KTM, and BMW attempting a shift in product lines a few bikes were lost, but with the 690 and 701 continuing at least the basic elements are there in a big way, I do wish they would have taken this platform farther rather than creating the 890 that has been troublesome at best.

    Compared to the Bmw G650gs isn't this more Enduro and the Bmw is more Adventure?. Also how is the MPG and vibrations compared

    • @TRCAdventures
      @TRCAdventures  Рік тому +1

      The TR is interesting, because the suspension is more street focused but the bike looks a bit more Enduro. I have found the GS to do better off road,

    • @TRCAdventures
      @TRCAdventures  Рік тому +1

      Fuel economy is better on the GS, probably gearing that does that, vibration is about the same as I remember

    Do you know if most of the parts from BMW 650 fit the Terra (as the Gasket from the water pump? -( parts -7700382?))
    Thank you

    • @TRCAdventures
      @TRCAdventures  3 роки тому +1

      Most all motor parts are the same, At the time of the design and manufacture of the TR650, the Husqvarna motorcycle brand was owned by BMW Motorrad and this motorcycle shares many parts in common with other BMW models, including the G650GS, F650GS & F800GS. The engine is based on the BMW engine used in the F650GS/G650 models

      I’ve had mine forever and never really experienced anything but I’ve seen it have moisture under or on the screen when I would start it in the morning sometimes what tends to happen if that happens?

    Mine came with the street bike style metzlers and it handles incredibly it has the capability of keeping up with some street bikes on windy roads if you know how to ride it right hahaha

    It's funny that nowadays this bike would be a huge hit if it came out with its low weight etc. Ahead of its time.

    • @TRCAdventures
      @TRCAdventures  3 роки тому +2

      Its so true, sometimes they will just introduce the same bike under a different name like the Fazer 900, a re badged fjr900, that was originally a fz09 with better suspension and a more comfortable seat, they probably should have called that one an fz09 touring!....

      @TRCAdventures  3 роки тому

      Não tenho certeza de onde conseguir um kit de ignição para esta bicicleta em angola, se você está procurando o interruptor pode estar disponível na Amazon, ou tente ligar para a BMW, eles também podem ter isso para a bicicleta, acho que é o mesmo que o F650GS

      @@minchiominchioli5409 I don't think they are very similar, the TT is more of a dirt bike that can do the street, the TR is more of a street bike that can do the dirt. If that makes any sense?! The TT will be more at home on the trails, and the TR will be more at home on the street.
