    Attard = A Tard

    So he got stuck behind a slower car! And it's the other team and drivers fault? A better driver might have gotten around! It's called traffic and it's gonna be there every time you hit the track!

  • @DoctorElleGrumpy
    @DoctorElleGrumpy Рік тому +19

    He only has himself to be mad at. He chose the wrong line and got himself trapped behind a lapped car!

    • @glenchapman3899
      @glenchapman3899 Рік тому +6

      Yeah it not like these cars have mirrors or anything. Every sprintcar driver in the world has been checked up by a slower car some time in their career. It is just how the sport is.

      I was there, I think the reaction was due to two separate incidents with the same lapped car. The second of which saw Jessie's race ending in the wall. The unfortunate reaction from the alleged (Mr Attard) also ended his season in way of a 3month holiday from racing.

    • @frankisfunny2007
      @frankisfunny2007 Рік тому +1

      At least Attard didn't jump on top of the car like Ward did. Attard just threw his steering wheel. But I agree, still very dangerous!

  • @NathanM4A1
    @NathanM4A1 Рік тому +3

    It was all his own fault. He hesitated instead of blasting around the outside like McFadden. The lapped car gave him plenty of room and never blocked him. If he can't look at himself and see that it's his driving that caused that situation, then he will never be a top driver.

    The reaction was SO disproportionate to what happened. When I read he got fined and banned 3 months (absolutely right) I thought someone must have flipped him recklessly or something. There was nothing but racing in that. After seeing that $500 and 3 months seems soft. Especially considering he threw the wheel TWICE. He should be gone for the rest of this season and next.

      Agreed. Can you imagine that a racing association would let a lunatic with so little self control drive a car with other competitors. The other racers should refuse to race on a track with this kind of personality.

    For that display of bad sportmanship, lack of self control and danger to other people trackside (incl McFadden) Attard should receive a disqualification from racing. Not taking sides, nor do I support JMac, but Attard should control his temper and could have caused death or injury to someone. That display was horrendous. In the past I have supported him, but that's gone now. Take a good hard look at yourself, it's only a race!

    There was more to it than what's shown here. Not excusing Attard's behaviour. The same lapped car that changed lanes and cost him the potential heat win also ran him out of road and into the back straight wall. Same car got him twice in one heat race. That would get anyone angry. Just needed to handle it better

    • @rocnoir4233
      @rocnoir4233 Рік тому +2

      He could've handled it better by negotiating the traffic just as J-Mac did. That's what good drivers do.

    • @Woodsy3211
      @Woodsy3211 Рік тому

      @rocnoir4233 yes true. But it was a big moment for him and he was doing really well on the big stage. I feel for him and I feel his frustration but yer, not the way to handle it. Not a fan of JMac's driving last night though, threw 2 massive dirty sliders in his 2nd heat. He did offer half an apology after the race but it was pretty ordinary.
