Beautiful page with the colour palette, paper patterns, embellishments and use of the stencil. Would love more of these types of layout designs and videos as they are inspiring but seem realistic to replicate as well. Always enjoy your videos and learn something new each time
Mixed media scares me, too. I struggle with the imperfectionism. I try to keep it simple and stick to one technique. It keeps me from feeling overwhelmed. You should give it a try!
I just purchased the distress crayons so I am so excited to see them being used! Love the colors you used in this layout, not typically something I would use but I am inspired to give them a try! Thanks

I haven’t scrapped for over 6 months, I have all these beautiful kits and collections but I feel like I have to do each page justice (hope that makes sense) like I need to fussy cut it out and re-invent the papers, handstich, mixed media lots of different techniques ect it’s only me putting pressure on myself to make ‘perfect pages’ but by doing that to myself I’m making no pages. Stuck in a rut..I think.
You are so welcome! Years ago, I struggled to use my kits for the exact reason you are sharing. I realized that new kits come out every season and I want those, too. I made the choice to start using what I had before I bought anything new. I also made the decision to try ONE technique with each project and let go of the perfection. It's not easy, but I want you to give it a try.
