This is so crazy, the Pentagon think we’re stupid 🤦♂️
I've said this before, and I'll say it again. I don't like feeling like an idiot, just because other people haven't seen alien flying saucers for themselves. The reality of it is so bad, I get lost for words. People have been suppressed on the issue to the point that they can't grasp the truth and magnitude of it and what it all means.
AARO wasn't given any security clearances, knowing that should have told you the report would be bullshit and it was nothing but another attempted coverup.

Usually when you even consider a project you know if what you should work on exist. Even the preliminary preparations like budget estimates require man-hours of work, security clearences, et cetera.

There are at least two different entities fighting over whether to release info or not. AARO does not want anything released and lies about it. The IG wants it released but slowly and Congress wants oversight of the whole thing. Lots of cogs and wheels turning behind the scenes. We will get major disclosure this year.
Also the part where is says materials being held in S.A.P. "presently". That would mean that not only did they have said materials, but it was obtained before this "recovery program" was implemented. So there was a program that existed prior to this one to do the same thing under a different name (possibly different persons or staff) and that also means it's almost certainly still ongoing under a different name.

So first of all they were saying the program had never existed at all … then about a month later, it did exist for a while but they didn’t find anything… then finally it never got started up or even looked for anything. Have I got that right ?

Watch the report. It mentions where, what, and who. They didn't just earmark a multi-million/year project for giggles. So at some point after creating the project, they decided to lie about it, and are still lying about it.
The project was likely scrapped when they realized they could better hide it from the public by giving it to private contractors... like Lockheed.
Sorry you feel that way but the title stands, the information within the video outline how the Pentagon lied about a tech retrieval program that they disclosed the the public
