Any suggestions on how someone that isn't very experienced with FIFA games can learn the more advanced features? There are sooooo many button combinations it's hard to get started with anything more interesting than regular passes and shots.

Try starting with 1 star skill moves up to 5 star skill moves ; in the practice arena. Then after that you can watch other tutorials on gameplay
