      @@589supraI don’t think paycheck to paycheck people are buying this car, even six figure people stay away from this but it’s great Toyota brought this back.

      Good luck! Since that one is newer, it should be stock or close to stock. Just get any maintenance records and test drive to make sure it's in good working order.

    Enjoyed that, thanks for looking at some, was interesting to see the American ones in relation to ones elsewhere. But yeah agree any type of mods to power a 2020 much easier.

      Hopefully some of the things I mentioned applies to other markets as well. Love seeing people outside of the US comment on my videos so I can widen my perspective.

      Vince!! Hey Bro, GnoahY on another account.
      Found a supra for 2020 62k MI - $37k
      Clean title, carfax, only 1 minor damage no accident.
      DP and Intake, CEL from DP.
      What would your thoughts be on this if you had to go back and buy your car? I know this is a weird question but I need some opinions.
      I’m going to get a compression and drip test done to ensure engine health, but man i’m on the brink of it.
      Car is currently a Daily driver, and will be a daily driver when I get it too… Not sure man, need some help. Ty

    Great video, I'm about to go from my current FK8 to a more or less stock supra gr with low miles but recently has gotten downpipe and MHD+ with an OTS map. Might go ecutek in the future what would you prefer and what mods would you do first if i may ask?

    • @VinceChristmastree
      @VinceChristmastree  3 місяці тому +1

      Like I mentioned in the video, ask yourself what do you want the car to do at the end of the day? MHD+ I think can do a majority of the functionality that EcuTek can do. Just find a tuner that you prefer.

      @VNScake 3 місяці тому

      @@VinceChristmastree It will be E40/E50 downpipe in the future my plans is to have fun in it on the twisties and want to try RWD mainly that's why i'm going from the fk8. I've noticed there is quite alot of bodyroll in these cars in comparison to the ctr. Do you have any suspension mods other than the lowering springs? your videos are really helpful by the way even though i live in Sweden and tuningwise the options are quite few here so might do a e-tune from overseas.

    • @VinceChristmastree
      @VinceChristmastree  3 місяці тому +1

      Mine is just on lowering springs, but the twisties are pretty limited in my area. I would recommend swaybars and a track alignment at the minimum. There are camber/toe arms available for front and rear that you could possibly look into. Thanks for the support! I know some of the tuners here based in the US are able to tune cars overseas.

      @@VinceChristmastree Thanks alot for the suggestions. I'll look into those asap the first thing i'll do is lowering springs,spacers,xhp and just painting the oem wheels until i'll get ahold of some nice ones for the supra.

    • @VinceChristmastree
      @VinceChristmastree  3 місяці тому +1

      Yeah just lowering the car and adding spacers changes the look of it. Makes the Supra look more aggressive. Looking forward to hearing what you do to the car!

    Doesn't buying an used tuner car usually mean the cars have been abused?

    • @VinceChristmastree
      @VinceChristmastree  3 місяці тому +2

      Not always. There’s rare instances where someone modifies/tunes their car and barely drive it. As long as the person has kept up with maintenance and caring for the car, it generally is fine. I always recommend a PPI especially if it’s been modified a decent amount.

    • @xxthehuskycaboosexx
      @xxthehuskycaboosexx 3 місяці тому +2

      Tuned doesn’t mean abused lol.
      I’d rather say it’s the opposite, as people who tune, take better care of their cars in terms of maintenance and overall health.
      For instance, I have a big turbo Supra, and I’m super anal about keeping my car properly maintained.

    • @ashaan586
      @ashaan586 3 місяці тому +2

      @@xxthehuskycaboosexx it all depends on owner, i know a few supra owners in my area that are tuned and r**e their car every day with flame tunes and burnouts

      This. I won’t buy a used performance car lol. Too OCD. I pay the new tax for the peace of mind knowing it hasn’t been ravaged by someone else.

      @@y00h000 I went datalogging after slapping on JB4 and a few other parts. You basically have to log it from the 3rd gear, from 2500 RPM until the redline. I'll be the first to admit that's a rough treatment on the car.

      For practicality and just overall quality (interior tech and tangible stuff), G80. For something not as common and fun, Supra. They're both amazing cars, but they tick different boxes.

    I didn't buy one because it's not offered in AWD. As a daily driver and even as a dedicated sports car, I want AWD. All around better performance and traction. Can push the car to the limits without fear of being a mustang and sliding out and crashing. Cool car, love the B58 and the fact it's a coupe, I only drive coupes, but no AWD was a deal breaker for me. No can do sir. It's also really friggn expensive for how little tech and bells and whistles you get. And for how plain and boring the design of the interior is.
