Gods Amazing Grace...We are Saved! Lord please give us strenght to continue changing hearts live in abundance in this world we want to enjoy temporarily...
There is a measure of grace in everything God has done. He causes it to rain on the just and the unjust alike. But when we are talking about eternity... we are talking about a full measure of grace completely vested in Jesus Christ and his word. Jesus told us about how the only way to have eternal life in us is if we imbibe in his body and his blood. And many of those who followed him, when they had heard this ceased to follow him. Seeing this Jesus turned to those who were left and asked... will you now also leave me... And those who followed him replied... where would we go? It is you who has the words of life.
You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone. (James 2:24, NASB) Wherever God's Grace goes it's always teachings and instructions that we must obey!

Therefore, ye are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son then an heir through God." Ahhh through Christ. Another attack on Jesus! KJB, 1 John 4:19, "We love him because he first loved us." NASB. "We love, because he first loved us." He is left out again!!!

My question to those who say there is nothing needed to do is just have faith. My reply is faith is a work. While it isn't an "action" it is still is a work, as well is belief.
@@R-H-C-3 It does say that, but there is a caveat to this. First, the letters are intertwined with each other. In Colossians 2: 12 Paul wrote; 12 having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised with Him through faith in the working of God Notice it says we were buried in Baptism which is part of the working of God. Secondly, we were also raised with Him through faith. This is also part of the plan of salvation. Now when we meld Ephesians 2, with Colossians 2 in context, it is read like this. (changing the word grace to Christ will clarify this) For by faith in Christ, and not by one keeping the Law you are saved by following Christ's command of being baptized where Christ's faith in God to raise Him up. In other words, we have to have faith in Christ's teachings are true. Many misunderstand what baptism is actually doing. It washes a person so that they may present themselves as a Holy and acceptable sacrifice to God. Something too that baptism does is that it is part of the prosylezation process. We are unclean when we are born. To become clean, one is washed by the water of baptism. In Ephesians 5:26 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Finally, many say that they follow Christ, and do what He says. How can one say they follow Christ when He said to the apostles in Mark 16: 16 The one who has believed and has been baptized will be saved; Christ said this, so it stands to reason that the without either baptism or belief one is not saved. The Bible has a flow to it. To take just a part like many do will miss the integral part that is relevant to their salvation.
@@Earl_Lee_Riser Paul was speaking of the Law, where one proved their faith by actually doing something. This was like tithing down to the smallest herb. Keeping the Law did not allow a person into Heaven. In verse 5 Paul said where were made alive together with Christ. Christ was the grace that was given to us. Our faith, love, and wanting to please Him we will follow His command. Mark 16:16. An active faith is a work that results in an action. Acts 2:38 Paul is speaking to the Christians of Ephesus who believed in order to keep their salvation, which started on the Day of Pentecost when Peter commanded everyone to be baptized for the remission of their sins, which washed away their sins, that they had to do works to maintain their status. Paul was telling them after they accepted Christ, that the only thing they needed to do was trust on the atoning blood of Christ. There was nothing else to do, except follow His Gospel commands. However, Christ does that one can lose their salvation. Revelation 2-3 explains this very well. To recap. One gains salvation by faith in Jesus Christ and following His commands, which includes baptism for the remissions of sins. One maintains their salvation by faith in the atoning blood of Christ. To show the world that we are of Christ, that we love Him, that we want to help Him save the World, we follow His Gospel Commands. One that comes to mind is Matthew 28. There are two different uses of faith.
@@Earl_Lee_RiserJesus said in John 6:28-29 that faith indeed is a work. The context of Ephesians chapter 2 verses eight and nine is that we cannot be saved through works of merit nor can we be saved through faith alone, nor grace alone, nor baptism alone they all live in harmony with each other. James 2:14-26 states that faith being alone without works is dead (v.17). Our faith cannot be validated without good works.
Here’s what the Bible teaches is necessary for Salvation: The Bible teaches that all of these things are required for Salvation: God’s Grace, Faith/Trust, following the Commandments, Repentance, Forgiveness, Baptism, Eucharist, Being a Disciple, Good Works, The Church, Evangelism, The New Covenant, Unity, the Body of Christ.
@CharlesCurtis-gt5yb Why do you think that? I’m just relaying what the Bible says. It certainly does not say “faith alone”. It also doesn’t say it is easy. And don’t forget it isn’t saying we have to be perfect, but we certainly have to make the the effort or else why would Jesus tell us the gate is narrow.
Romans 1: 16 - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 - For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. Here's Paul's gospel: 1 Corinthians 15: 1 - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 - By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 - For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 - And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: So according to Paul, those who believe that Christ died for their sins, was buried, and rose again are saved. That is much different than Peter's gospel of repent and be baptized. Obviously. Peter never mentions grace through faith, or the blood of Christ saving us, or being in Christ. Paul never mentions repent and be baptized. Instead, he said the Spirit baptizes us into the body of Christ, which is a work of God and includes zero water. 1 Corinthians 12:13
