Does the pro version interfere with installing 12v sockets under the grid for device power? I will have a phone, rv backup monitor and dash a dash cam mounted, is the pro version even necessary?
We do! Here's the Dash Mount: builtrightind.com/products/builtright-industries-dash-mount-2015-2020-ford-f-150-raptor-2017-f-250-f-350 If you want the most support possible, pick up the support plate too! builtrightind.com/products/dash-mount-support-plate-2015-f-150-raptor-and-2017-super-duty
The company is MounTech for both parts! It's a project we started when we saw a need for rugged, premium, well-engineered device mounts that interface perfectly with our dash mounts. We will be releasing more information about these products and where to get them soon!
THANK YOU!!!! Excellent video as always! I have been waiting for this video. Assuming the B & O speaker on the 2023 will come out just like it did on 2022? I have never used the heavy support plate with my Part #104012 and had 2 phones and a radar detector attached. Have you seen issues with the Dash Mounts pulling through the plastic tray? Seems like it would need an awful lot of force? I have already ordered the 2023 Part # 104058 (without support plate) My only concern is whether or not I should change my order to add the support plate.
Thank you! We appreciate the kind words. And yes, your center channel speaker cover should pop off when pried up, just like with previous models! Regarding not using the support plate that comes with the PRO Dash Mount, for most applications (and specifically for your 2 phone/radar detector setup) the Standard Dash Mount without the support plate should do the job just fine. We really don't hear about mounts pulling their bolts through the dash tray, or pulling the entire dash tray out of the dash structure. We do recommend using the PRO Dash Mount if you're planning on mounting 3+ phones, or 2 phones and a larger GPS, radio head unit, tablet, etc. But in our opinion, there's no need for you to change your order! If you get everything installed, set up, and you're still looking for more peace-of-mind, reach out to us at support@builtrightind.com
Thank you, couldn't do it without the video.
Glad it helped!

Cool! Which company's product is the square base 1 inch ball mount? I wonder which company the socket arm is from.
