This was great - I have several patterns and am looking forward to doing them! The pattern instructions are very clear but seeing the video helped tremendously.
You are so right about visual vs just written instructions. I love hand needle turn. I purchased, years ago, your Halloween pattern and it has many tiny thin lines in the web. I could not figure out how to use fusible only reading instructions. This demo was perfect. I am going to use an embroidery stitch around the edges. Thank you so much. Sandra Crane
@@PacificRimQuiltCompany I love elephants, being from Alabama and plan on tackling your elephant design the quilts from now....just in time for football season. I have the fabric, etc. but just couldn’t get the layout clear in my visual mind. Now I have it and I’m excited to make this happen. Thanks again!
Thank you ,Connie. Love your Dogwoods quilt. I’ve just ordered another Elephants pattern as I have not been able to find the one that I already own.🤷🏼♀️ Wonderful video.
Yes you can. I talk about each preparation method. The first is for hand applique and the second is how to do it by machine using fusible. I hope this helps. Mahalo!
I made huge mistake of using a fine point sharpie. I didn't get too far when I switched to chalk. But I got the pattern off center when I was tracing. The chalk came out in wash, but not the sharpie. Sigh.... never a sharpie again!!!!
Oh, my. I have used the sharpie when I am doing needleturn applique however I am extra careful about pinning and taping the pattern and fabric in place before I start. That is the real downside of a sharpie. Glad you didn't get too far.

Thank you. This now makes so much sense. I guess with these 2 fabric and 3 fabric quilts…I am a visual learner. 😊
