I know, this is an old video that I made when I was first starting playing Hurling , I have been playing for 5 years now and know some of the things I say in this aren't that accurate.
@@Mikey-yw5eq Hey No worries! Here's a link to an article I wrote on Lee Chin awhile ago! Yop the YellowBellies! irishamerica.com/2018/01/setantas-successor-the-rise-of-wexfords-lee-chin/
Good video. Any plans to visit Ireland to see some games. It's possible to visit many club grounds for a puck around also, even Semple Stadium in Thurles after matches.
I was actually just in Ireland for the GAA World Games in August where I played for NYGAA. Our first day there we saw the Kilkenny Waterford match. The Deise almost came up with the upset! That was also my first time at Croke Park.
Terrific. Lucky you all got to see such an exciting game. Just checked out the Kean hurling facebook site. Impressive. You're not going to believe this but, I've never been to Croke Park. You're one up on me there, lol.
Joseph Ryan Update: hope you’re well! I just went with NYGAA to the 2019 World Games in this past August and we are world champions! We played London at Croke Park and beat them by 10!
nice to see you spreading the great game man! keep it going
Can't wait to play !!!
Devon Gallucci well what do you think? I'm sure you're some player now!
No one would wear a helmet pucking around

I’m Irish you see lots of hurling here
make some videos of you playing hurling
:)
Nice vid but we don’t mak fun of people with shin guards
It's more of the older generation playfully saying you shouldnt wear them
Dave Lewis ok I’m sorry

Nice vid! So are crotch guards completely ignored in this sport? I mean a Silotar or a Hurley will seriously hurt down there...
No one wears them I don’t either. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone get hit there somehow
Sometimes goalies wear them but that's about it
Where did you get your all black cultec
We worked with the NYGAA and they were able to ask the GAA in Dublin for equipment
Get a cooper
I have a red Cooper helmet after losing this one at the 2016 GAA World Games Final in Croke Park.
Why?
@@alpenjon it’s more aesthetic. Especially old style
@@Bock75 Agree on the old style, but those are heavily overpriced on the used market. The new style Coopers you can buy new don't look good IMHO.

Used a different one.
