Anyone on here who speaks Tibetan and English, could you make up a name for a fictional place in a book I'm working on? It's supposed to be a secret/sacred valley, sort of a Shambala-like place, and it should mean something like "the place of peace and happiness and sweet aroma of amber". It doesn't have to be literal, but I don't speak Tibetan and can't find the way to creat this name, so if anyone could help I would be most grateful. 🙂
@@tibetanworld4667 Thanks for the reply, even though it's not what I was looking for. The name of Shangri La and the legend are too well-known to be included in a fictional book as a specific place. The thing is, I'm looking for a name for a fictional place, one that means something like that. The place in the story is a lot like Shangri La, but it needs another name, a new one. One that doesn't exist already, so that the story won't be confusing for the readers.

@@tibetanworld4667 What do you think of the name Dechen Sa, for such a place? I think it doesn't exist... but I'm not sure the meaning makes sense.
@@NieveAndrea Sounds great, Dechen Sa, but alternatively Dechen Ling or Dechen Shing Kham for your thought.
