- This is a new fun music video for the classic 1974 Carl Douglas song "Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting"
Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting is a music video compilation I did of various videos I shot with some of Shoalin Monks at the Shoalin Temple in China.
I also added and shot some of the surrounding Wushu Schools in the area who do Martial Arts demonstrations.
I do a basic chronology starting at the Top of Mount Song, Bodhidharma's cave then to the Shoalin Temple with praying monks and fighting monk demonstrations.
I also had some fun with minor effects to turn one of the Shoalin Monk into the First Jedi doing a Lightsaber Kata in a ship in space.
I've actually been thinking about starting learning kung-fu... then i saw this, i will never be as cool as these guys

Keep in mind that they didn't start out this cool. They had to work hard to reach that level of coolness, and so can you.

Fun fact - bodhidharma an Indian monk taught kung fu to China which further developed into shaolin kung fu
The skill of these real Shaolin Monks is truly outstanding!

This kid bullied me back in the 70's ,so one day I played this about 10 times before I walked to school , determined to kick his ass , well sure enough he was waiting at the gate , before he could say anything I socked him in the nuts and picked him in the eyes I was chopping him up and chopping him down ,they pulled me off him and he never bothered me again . . .thanks sensei Carl Douglas.😎

I used to get bullied so much. I used to think they will understand and leave me alone but they didn't. I never fought back and my school life was miserable. 😞
The abilities of these monks is beyond description; the training alone must take years.
@Jen Ortiz It comes from years of training and dedication to perfecting their routines and moves. The mental discipline alone is nearly unattainable by Western standards.

I watched one of these live-kung fu-show once. It was absolutely stunning how they could control their bodys so perfect.
