  • I have had the 2016 Oset 20.0 Racing for a week and it has been a blast! It is all stock and has received some great improvements including a much larger rear tire for increased traction and much smoother power delivery for more control. If it can hold up to my abuse it is surely strong enough for just about everyone! Get yours at www.osetbikes.com

    The 20 seems way lighter and stronger (engine) than the 24....is it possible?

    • @PatSmage
      @PatSmage  5 років тому +1

      It is lighter and the motor is similar so it does seem like it has a little bit more power using the same battery in both since it has less weight and tire to push around than the 24. The old stock battery which this video was shot with makes it closer in power, probably a bit less than the 24. But the new lithium version brings it up to have more with longer run times. Both are fun with either setup though!

      My 24R already made some (short) sand ride, and it surprised me about the power on it, better than I expected. :)

    Pat Smage, i´m starting learning CrossTrainning - at 40 years old.
    I´ve been listen that trial is the best way to learn the basis
    Is this a good bike to learn - balance and some basic skills? it´s cheap and silence. I´m 1,80m with 90Kg. Need to lose weight.
    Thank´s

      +JoPinheiro Sure is! The small size and silence can be a huge advantage over gas as you can ride it a lot more places without disturbing others. A lot can be learned with very little obstacles. It is fun also!

    the range with the original battery is pretty poor isnt it? how long could you go with a charge under the above circumstances/ usage?

      Varies depending on usage/load conditions, power setting, rider weight - 8 year old kids trail type riding about 1 1/2 hours, spare batteries are cheap and take 5 min max to change over. Less time cleaning carb, changing oils etc means more riding time, at skateparks, mtb trails, backyard, no waiting for it to warm up either.

      watchdancing, If I as an adult drive around the garden, smaller hills and so on the battery lasts for 15 mins (on full throttle like an enduro-driver). 75kg is my weight. If I use it as a trialbike 30-45 mins. Full throttle drains the battery and the low voltage cut-off kicks in, setting the motor in a 'limp-home-mode' for a short time (depending if the battery voltage increase back up after a short release of the throttle) A swedish dealer have developed a LiPo battery for 20racing modell to double the riding time. The ECU needs an update for LiPo since the voltage levels arent the same.

    • @PatSmage

      +stephen deben Absolutely! It depends what kind of riding you want to do but a lot can be learned and a lot of fun can be had in a very small space with an Oset!
